Like everything else Anthony puts out on TXBA, this lesson is top-notch. I'm willing to bet that most people who want to play as good as SRV will never come close and I'm certainly in that group. But over the years, I've learned to accept that while I'll never be an "accomplished" guitar player, I can still enjoy learning and playing even if it is at a less lofty level. That's why it's so refreshing for a perennial beginner like me, just a casual guitar player, to have access to different skill levels of the same lesson. Kudos to you, Anthony, and thanks.
Was working on the course this morning. Awesome. The program works. Breaking the individual licks the integrating them into a phrase is very effective aid. That plus the Pro Player really makes learning fun. thanks Anthony
I learned SRV at his level while holding a tape recorder in one hand and a Dr pepper in the other standing up plugged into a Les Paul and mini Marshall. But thats how I did it!!
Very cool. New subscriber here so I haven't seen a lot of your other videos. Are you purposely not using your pinky or is that just kind of part of your style? I understand oftentimes in blues we only use the first three fingers... But there were some parts that just looked harder without old friend pinky.
Do you have any pack and/or courses of lessons for specifically directed to SRV? Otherwise to Jimi Hendrix? Too complicated to find any specific ones in your various courses...

Do you play on the same gauge strings that Stevie did? Excellent video.

Has anyone ever told you you are devilishly handsome?
