I’m pretty sure warfare already released the fix for this back on 7.xx it should still work and fix any current drive issues but I wouldn’t be sure, haven’t tested

9:14 Could you do a tutorial on PPPWN GUI 1.8?! Leaving settings at default makes it fail for me upon retrying and then it starts to bug out saying it lost the internet connection, and then I need to uncheck/recheck 'Connect to the Internet' on the PS4 to reset it. No idea what if any settings might need to be changed. In 1.7.1 only thing I have checked is auto-retry and it works every time (after a failure or two).
If your trying to jailbreak asap your best bet is to try and purchase a lower firmware ps4 can probably find one fairly cheap it will be a long time till 11.02

Try to rebuild the database on safe mode, and then try the exploit again, if it runs and if your applications have been deleted, install itemzflow and rebuild the database with that application.
There’s two possible solutions, it might be your internet connection not powerful enough to get the exploit running so try to see if your pc is connecting properly, if it does try to go to the control panel, in the network section, click on your Internet connection then click on properties, click on sharing and check the boxes, try to do the jailbreak again, if it still doesn’t work restart your ps4 then on your pc go to your pppawn loader normally you can see and unpacked version, extract it ( if you don’t try to download pppawngui Modern gave links on the very first video of the playlist) when it will ask you if you want to replace it click replace all the files. When the extraction is over do the jailbreak again. Good luck
I had the same problem but I fixed it with some few steps. I first troubleshooted the network adapters and chose to troubleshoot the wifi adapter and it fixed some stuff, then enabled sharing to the ethernet adapter. The next step was to install python and run the exploit again this time setting it to run the python version in the exploit settings, and by so doing the obtain ip address issue was fixed for me Infact, the wifi didn't even need to have an Internet connection.

why would the system say "GoldHEN 2.4b17.3 loaded, payload copied to hard drive" then when you go to system info it still shows GoldHEN v2.4b17????? New stage2 copied to PC and selected with PPPwnd and new goldhen.bin copied to USB plugged into PS4 while exploit is running
You forgot some step at the 3 min mark for how to install the websrv which makes this very frustrating to try and follow. You go from installing a PKG file on a system running the etaHEN exploit to then somehow being back in the idlesauce host (how do you get back in there if you are already running etaHEN)? Are you loading anything before the loader? The PS5 Elf Loader exits right away if I launch it after running the jailbreak. I click it, it says loading payload, then it quickly says "exiting payload" and nothing happens. No one has any good videos on how to get this thing working and the github instructions are useless...

If you have the problem that the jailbreak gives the error that the payload was not found, you have to load the goldhen.bin onto a USB stick and leave it plugged in. After the first boot, the .bin will be saved onto the HDD when loaded.

Hey, after jailbreaking my PS4 I have realized that the Jailbreak is not for me. How do I remove it so I can update to 11.50? Goldhen does not let me update and cannot manually update in safe mode either. PS4 controller doesn’t work with USB cable in Safe Mode. I guess that’s because of goldhen. How I can I revert it?

Anyone having an issue with their ps4 refusing to go in rest mode, it just freezes up and loses all power, it also does it when I try to restart the console. The ps4 is literally brand new and I also upgraded to a ssd, not sure if it’s a bug in gold hen, pretty annoying having to run the exploit every time

@@joshbrillon5716 try toggling the rest mode in GoldHEN settings on/off a couple of times. If that doesn't work I'm not sure why it continues to happen. It seems to work for most people.

For 9.6 you currently still have to use an ethernet cable, it's just that there is a future possibility that you can do a webkit jailbreak.
For anyone who can't update bc of a broken Blu ray drive simply disconnect the drives ribbon cables and you can update.

Turn off your internet connection from settings before going into rest mode.
@@yurty6253 tried that too screen instantly goes black and console crashes, but w/o the exploit running all power options work perfectly

@@ilyes9672 what windows version are you using the best one ive used so far is 10. And you should try to format your ps4 but first backup everything you need
