If you check in online (up to 48 hrs before) you can pick your seat free of charge and change as many times as you want, I get my laptop out at the airport to see if there's any empty seats and try and change to an empty row. London to Doha is often quite busy but the Bangkok leg can be quieter especially at the back of the plane where I got a 4 seat row to myself 2 weeks ago.
I've flown Qatar Airways a few times too, and honestly, the service is good Plus, Doha's airport has a great vibe; it really reflects Qatar's hospitality with how welcoming and organized everything is.
I’m looking forward to exploring Doha airport properly when I head back! You can definitely tell customer service is great as you can contact an agent 24/7 and the onboard staff were wonderful!
Nice short video. Keep it simple. I have tried Qatar Airways too. They are fine. I think the best food have I got on Oman Air and Air India. Both if you choose chicken. Entertainment on Qatar is great. I do not care that much about the airplaines. I just want to get from A to B as cheap as possible.
The seats in QA economy were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced. By the end of a 11 hour flight from Osaka to Doha I simply could not sit comfortably. Also, for some reason the choice of films was much smaller on that flight than my connecting flight from Doha to Manchester. The crew were great but the flights were the most miserable travelling experiences of my life.
Wow this is really interesting to hear! I didn’t find the seats particularly uncomfortable but I definitely struggled to sleep - Singapore airlines have the head rests which fold and allow you to rest of your head / neck better and I don’t think QA did! Thanks for commenting 😊
The QA economy seats definitely didn’t have headrests. Between 2019 and 2020 I flew from Manchester to Chicago and back with Air France and Aer Lingus. The flights are around 3-4 hours shorter than my QA Doha-Osaka flight but I definitely don’t remember anywhere near the same level of discomfort with the seats.
Thanks for this, I had struggled to find any videos about flying this exact route LHR - BKK. I am nervous about my 75 min layover when I fly in a couple of weeks but you've calmed my fears a bit! Can I just ask did you have to go through security again at Doha or did you just get off the first flight, find the new gate number and go to the gate?
@@l0islane I’m so glad this video has helped! No, no need to go through security again in Doha - just straight over to your new gate which will be on the screens at the airport or on the QA app 😊
I have flown many times with Qatar to philippines love the food and service the best i think. I am gling next week but worried because connectibg flight at Diha fust 45 mins
How exciting! You'll be fine, they were great with having staff at Doha when people got off the flight to take them over to the next flight if time was tight - the girl I spoke to only had 30 mins and she made hers :) Have a great trip 🙌
Hi I booked through a third party - booking.com as it was about £50 cheaper than booking direct! Once you’ve booked you can still access your booking via the QA app and website, select your seats, make requests etc as usual 😊
Hi! Yes you do, but you have to queue separately before that to check in again and retrieve your boarding pass. Once I got my boarding pass I had to go into another queue to drop my suitcase

Thank you for sharing this beautiful video and your own experience.
Nice review. The Heathrow economy check in looked chaotic!
Thank you! It was, but the rest of the experience was great 😊

I've just used Qatar London to Seychelles and it was amazing, I agree the food is great, and Doha airport is fabulous!
Really want to fly Qatar airways and this just makes me want to even more. Such a helpful video!
😊🙏
I’m flying next April to Delhi with Qatar airlines thank you for the info it’s put my mind at rest
I’m on this flight for the first time ever with qatar, flying out on the 29th November, looking forward to it
I hope you have an amazing trip! 😊
Welcome back to Southeast Asia, your home away from home.
Thank you! It is indeed 😊
If the Economy Class is this good, I can only imagine how amazing Business Class must be! 😍 Qatar Airways, take my money!
Haha I know, I hope one day I can experience the business class! ✈️
I enjoyed your video. I am looking forward to flying with Qatar Airlines in 2025 to Narita, Japan.

They only allow one carryon right? This sucks! I have a work backpack too. 😣
Excellent video ❤❤
Thank you ☺️

@@LuisaTonayou didn't have to go through security in Doha because you were late Qatar do that but normally you have to go through security .
@TriggLu oh really! That’s interesting
You do need to go through security again. You were excused maybe because your flight was delayed
Thanks, this is good to know for the future!

I’ve flown with Qatar a few times from Manchester to Thailand, but Singapore airlines are better , ✈️
I agree! And you get unlimited free wifi on Singapore airlines if you sign up (free)
£550 !!! Not so long ago that was a direct return price.
It was the best price compared to other airlines who were charging £800 return minimum!
