I would absolutely watch an hour long video like this for every single GL map in rotation. It's one thing to look up and copy the opening(s) of a top player, it's a completely different thing to have this kind of in depth analysis. Why the popular openings are popular, their pros and cons etc., and I think most importantly, how a map should and does play out and where it's best to focus your resources (i.e. where to fight). It also helps I just started a game on this map. Excellent video!
Nice video. One thing I would like to know is whether it is even necessary for Sturm to even break the pipe seam? I haven't looked at the specific calcs, but I think he would already have at least the 2.5 turn from the base that you mentioned without the pipe seam breaking.
Silly drinking game idea: Every time Elagatua says "uh" or "um" while explaining take a shot. Don't actually do this, you won't make it hah. On a serious note, I love detailed breakdowns like this, and you make it quite clear even for someone like me who only ever played this game casually as a kid. The competitive ins-and-outs make a lot more sense when given the visual explanation as you do here.

already has helped my play on this map, i concur with another comment, a quick review of the global league maps in rotation would be very insightful
A lot of good high level pointers as always! I also really liked the thumbnail for this particular video. Simple and effective.

yeah that would definitely be the strategy as sturm; deny those two properties forever using early tank chains to the weak side
