Beans is nicest, especially with grated mature cheddar, black pepper and garlic granules, finished in the oven until the cheese has melted and starts to crisp at the edges😎😋👍🏻
My best friend sings this constantly and I've honestly never really thought to ask about where he got it from. Then I discovered this and suddenly a million and one little references start slipping into place.
Soup soup a tasty soup soup a spicy. Carrot and coriander. (chili chowder!) Crouton! Crouton! Crunchy friends in a liquid broth. I am gazpacho (oh). I am a summer soup (mmm!) Miso! Miso! Fighting in the dojo. Miso! Miso! Oriental prince in the land of soup!

I agree, but judging by the comment section, there are too few of us that get it. I've tried to turn friends on to the Boosh and it hasn't gone well. Then again, I live in a place that votes republican, which explains a lot.
DEVO DAVIS “a place that votes republican” - I assume by this you’re American? Not that I’m saying that Americans “don’t get it” because obvi they do but I do wonder if this type of show is very popular with Americans? I’m just saying I don’t think politics has anything to do with it 😂 But of course I could be wrong 🤷🏼♀️
@@kyliedearson9362 I'm not saying a party denotes comedic tastes, but there is a certain stubbornness, a resistance to the unfamiliar, that the republicans 'round here often have in common. It's not a Venn diagram with one circle that says republicans never, ever get surrealism, it's just that we're talking not only about people in the Bible Belt, we're often talking Christian or even home schooled folks. Some people lead sheltered lives. That lifestyle doesn't tend to even expose people to weird British humor. I'm as country as country can be, so I don't mean to disparage country people at all... just the ones with sticks up their butts.

Wow. Same here. Like even at midnight no ones home, the floors creaking all the lights are off it still makes you feel comfortable. Mighty Boosh is the best.
this is brilliant! its ALL brilliant lol-still laugh as hard as the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 100th time i have watched it. Really wish there were more to come!!
Never watched it in my life but know this song from my mates incessantly singing and making all the Mighty Booth references throughout my teenagedom and now here I am, a 30 year old who still cannot see or hear the word soup without singing this bloody song still
Absolute hilarious madness. Not sure why they didn't keep going.. but perhaps that's the very British comical point - modest quantity but exceptional quality when it comes to comedy.
My brain just starts humming this for automatically whenever I so much as glance at the word soup. Which is pretty often, turns out, and for like the last 14 years...
I memorized it since this came out. Soup, soup a tasty, soup, soup, a spicy, carrot and coriander (chilli chowder) crouton, crouton, crunchy friends in a liquid broth... and so on :)
I noticed the that Howie's story may relate to my dad Edward H. Moldthan's story out in Fort Wayne, IN. The black haired character may relate to me. Lots of people may have used my dad and my image for attention, and I am okay/alright with people using my image. I just didn't know if that was a rhetorical device to get my attention that people may have thought or dreamt meanly/quite-awfully of me and my father/dad. Cool production!
It’s a decade later and I still randomly get the soup song stuck in my head.
Just incase you forgot about this , I thought I would bless you by tagging you.
It's the chosen one for me.
15 years later and it still lives rent free in my head. I’m here bc I’m showing strangers in the smoking area bahahahaha
@@Its_dat_slev Same, whenever I have soup like now, it pops into my head
"you look like jacket potato" and "beans or coleslaw?" still catches me out and reduces me to tears.
Can you explain the beans and coleslaw please?
They’re often used as jacket potato fillings in the uk 🙂👍🏻
@@SANDSCORCHER Thank you so much! Never had a baked potato with beans or coleslaw, might try it out.
