Although I commented on your AUS takeoff, no remarks yet on your arrival at MSY--one could be forgiven in thinking you're landing somewhere in Florida, what with the swampy, marshy area just west of the airport---upon exiting the runway, it sounds as if your aircraft hit two potholes, a definite unmistakable sound---noticed the ground wingman signaling for your arrival--as soon as that -700 was pushing back, he immediately turned his attention to assisting that departure--no mention from the FA as to if your flight was continuing on elsewhere as is the norm for SWA--don't you wish you could walk to another gate to fly elsewhere rather than go back to the parking garage? Home? Boring! So, where else are you planning on traveling to? :)
It’s a very swampy area on the west side of MSY! And yeah, there seems to be quite a bad bump on that particular taxiway (G8). We’ve hit it on many of my recent flights into and out of MSY. And this aircraft ended up continuing onto Phoenix as a different flight number. Thanks for watching!
