I could describe plot to you, but it'd be just a dry description that wouldn't make justice to the film's brilliance. also if you're watching this video because of Andrew Garfield - he's very good in the movie, and it'll be an entertaining watch. this video makes so much more sense if you know the source material :)

before i watched the movie, i saw all sorts of interviews and clips where andrew garfield (and other people) were talking about how much Eduardo looks up to, is in awe of, and is basically in love with mark and i was like...cool! cant wait to see how andrew does that!

basically up until he finds out that his share was diluted, he does anything mark asks for. anything he wants. even if he doesnt agree with it. and his very first lines, when mark was creating FaceSmash... "are you ok?" "i need you" "im here for you" "no i need your algorithm"......the delivery is absolutely on point, and i can 100% tell how Eduardo cares for mark. which is why it was so sad when he set him up.
seriously though, andrew garfield is a PHENOMENAL actor

When I first saw the movie 10 years ago I was honestly surprised the way Mark treated everyone now looking at it in 2021 I don’t feel sorry for any of those guys, everyone’s a billionaire now so they all made it 😅
Eduardo did nearly nothing and has 10 billion from zucc's work now lol.
They made it via lawsuits - if he didn't screw them, none of that would have happened.

I have so many thoughts and emotions regarding this video. Along with the music and editing, this makes the story seem like such a sad one, which it kind of is. I honestly think that Mark, deep down, never wanted to lose Eduardo as his best friend; the moment at 0:18 where Mark says “I didn’t know that, tell me more.” just proves it. He was just manipulated by that piece of shit Sean Parker and that is where everything started to go downhill; Sean kept influencing Mark to exclude Eduardo out of the company’s success at every corner. Mark was too caught up in the business that he lost sight of what really mattered. After all, he gave up his only best friend for 500 million fake ones.
I also can’t help but think about how things would be different if Mark didn’t screw over Eduardo, and maybe they both could’ve made it big together in the end. The ending really gives context to the whole story; you can make it big in wealth and success, but is it really worth it without your best friend or even anybody by your side? Thank you so much for this video, the editing and music makes it a masterpiece.

I'm a David Fincher fan and one of my favs of course includes the Social Network, but from my viewing experiences I've never quite felt the homosexual tensions between Duard and Mark until now lmfao
I honestly think the social network isn't about Facebook story is about the sad ending of a great friendship because of Facebook

Why does this have a different ending? Most of the ending I've seen in this movie always end with mark friend requesting the girl he went on a date with, mark friend requesting eduardo would've been a way better ending

Actually, after watching the whole movie. I think i understand Mark. The movie's title is "The Social Network." It is about hoping, influencing and befriend with people from a social circle to another to achieve what you dream for. Just like Mark did. What if he didn't betray Winklevoss ? He would just entitled as "engineer." An "engineer" who not only code, but designing the UI and everything.
But also, i think he knows that Eduardo was sincerely wanted to help him (based from the movie). but what he can do. Playing with Eduardo's social network is nearly came to an end. Then, he must focus how to deceive Sean's network.
At the end, the person who he friend requests isn't Eduardo, it's Erica. I can't believe that I'm just finding this out now. I hate that on Apple Tv they changed the person.
