My man, I appreciate the video. Have same problem. I took the van to the shop they ran diagnostics and swapped sensors from one side to the other, bit that didn't fix anything. I had to pull the van out of the ship due to the next day scheduled job. They said bring it back and we will continue diagnostics at $110 an/h. I will be checking the wiring on that sensors and will be back to let you know. Seems like everyone has the same problem with left side. Let me know if anyone had experienced anything different. Thanks again.
I have that light.i replace both rear sensor and still have dash lights on.glad you made the video,Il go back and chk the wiring.the van drove fine so i was just drive it with the annoying alert every start up.
First off all great video bud. I was looking for my Ford Focus ABS sensor videos but found yours and watched fully as I enjoyed it. Few things though. 1. Not everything is supposed to click. That was the plug and adapter you were wanting to hear the click from. Like you plug the phone charger in the wall plug and it doesn't click right? It was the same thing with that sensor plug. 2. Always do step by step diagnosis. You realized the wire was faulty so soldered it and then went straight ahead to remove the new sensor and replace it with old one. What if the faulty wire and the original sensor both were the problems? Then you would have to replace the sensor again. Right? Always diagnose every step. 3. It can be a rat who ate the wire lol. Just a guess. Haha. But great and honest video. The struggle was real. What a great way to save that 150$ imo.
Before you soldered the wire, you may have been able to put a small piece of heat shrink tubing on the wire, pushed it down out of the way while you soldered and then moved the tubing up over the solder joint and heat shrinked it. Great video. I have a 2016 Transit Connect and have had the exact same problem. In fact, I have it now. It is flakey. It works one minute and then you get the trouble lights about the ABS and hill assist start. The wire may have had rodent damage. Rodents are serious problems with vehicles. They need to stop putting soy in the wire insulation. This should be a class action lawsuit against all car manufacturers who use soy in wire insulation. Worst idea ever.
Totally agree about heat shrink, but at the time of the repair I didn't have any on hand, as you can see from the video I thought it was just an easy swap with a bad sensor.
Wonder if this is tue reason my light for the gear selector is not light up, as it's not knowing if it's in park or not, but all thes lights came on the dash and now the Vehicle doesn't wanna startup
I had these lights come out too. All i did was push the switch under the dashboard all the way with my finger. This switch is on driver side, and the brake handle pushes on it when the foot brake is in normal resting position.
I have a 2015 Ford Transit 150 cargo van with only 53000 miles on it it's been babyed since i bought it new and now I have a warning light coming on that says ABS BRAKE POWER BOOSTER FAILURE SERVICE IMMEDIATELY and when I push the brake pedal its hard to push and the van doesn't want to stop like it should. Taking it to the Ford dealership Monday.
In my case it was easier because right before the repair I had my van diagnosed at Ford dealership. In your case, you have two options, the cheaper one visually inspect all wires on all four ABS sensors, if you don't see anything, go to plan b which is buying one ABS sensor and replacing on every position until you hit the broken one.
this guy is very good ...very honest in his methods...
I had the same problem on my 2018 transit. It affected my cruise control also. Cleaned and working perfectly. Thank you for your video. A++++++
Thank you for your comment.
What did you clean it with? Contact cleaner?
Your video was by far better than all the others on this problem!
Thank you.

Same warning lights on my 2014 Transit Connect. I’ll be under it tomorrow. Great call to investigate further before going back to the dealer.

Very informative great content

What is the Ford part number for that new sensor you installed?

Thank you, sir.

Would a bad wheel speed sensor cause abs pump to run continuously killing my battery?
Looks like I've learned something new today, I never heard about it before, but according to Google is possible

I don't think this would work in my case with the cut wire.
What switch, I can’t seem to find it
@@Monotone1118follow the brake lever up to the under part of the dashboard. Youll see a push-in/out switch
Pleased ive watched this I will give it a try thanks

Which OBD code was firing?
I didn't check the codes on this one since Ford pointed out a faulty sensor for me.
How do I know which one I have to repair ??
