Planting Bare Root Strawberries in Small Containers

Bare root plants sometimes need a temporary home while you get their area ready to grow. Today I’m planting bare root strawberries in small containers to get them growing until I’m ready to transplant them.

I love strawberries. I have been trying to grow some for a couple of years, but they aren't doing so well. I should try ordering some bareroot, maybe I can find some resistant varieties to try out. I have no idea what I am growing. They just said strawberries on them, I bought them from a mom and pop kind of place.

I would definitely do some research on which varieties do well there. Some of mine don’t like my wet cool soil and I’ll be planting them in a green stalk.
