Your spring development with a pre made spring house was awesome!! Found an identical ground spring close to my house and our well is dying. So, your video is perfect for my situation!!! TY!!!
Loving your land once you start depending on it for food, yes! I'm starting to know every detail, every shoot on my tiny new allotment. I know that once my newly-planted fruit bushes start to grow next summer I'll be obsessed with them.
Right on Ben! We are very much living parallel realities, you in Vermont, me in the northern Rockies. I am always both inspired and validated by your work and your success.
I bought the french translation of your book (from Imagine un colibri) because I'm a french expat in Warsaw, and I suppose d that climate in Poland is closer to Vermont than Normandy, Aquitaine or Côte d'Azur. It's not absolutely the same, less snow during Winter, about 600mm a year but lattitude more in the North (52°). However a lot of problems and solutions might be the same, and plant varieties also. Thank you so much for Such détails!
I have only 1 question. How children will be live on farm, far from the vilages? and how school and other entertainment. If we don't have neighbors? Our land 5 km. from the nearest the village. and 40km from the city. I care about only this !!!!!!!!! answer please!

How do you keep mice and other animals out of that cellar with the potatoes and apples?!
It’s just very tight with concrete and some metal screen on the vents.
