just received my a7IV and the battery that came with the camera (new) wasnt visible from the extreme left and right test, thats kinda weird
tried it again after typing this one and it does pass, however its very faint and I need plenty of light

have issues with original sony batteries. When I put it into my camera, my camera doesn't recognize it. It recognizes my old batteries but not new sony batteries. Any idea why that could be?

That might be fake battery

For me the L and R were reversed ( yes I was holding it appropriately
