I went through 2 of youe water colour videos including this one and THANK YOU. You are actually helping a beginner by telling them its okay to be at whatever level they are. Just begin. The water colour exercise you told about in this same playlist where you just take a sheet and listen to a song and do whatever is just EVERYTHING. Thankyou so much again ❤
I really enjoy following along and listen on your thoughts and tips. Just as you mentioned, I definitely tend to focus on one area at a time when I draw/paint for practice. I usually hone in on the part that kinda bugs me the most(hah), right now I'm trying to improve my design skills, shapes and draftsmanship, trying to combine the two. Keep up the great videos and beautiful art!
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻 Exactly, that's the trick. It's the same when I practice a song on the piano, I divide it up into smaller bits, especially the hard parts. And then just grind those until they feel easier. 😅
Thank you for this video🙏❤️ I'm so glad I found your channel and epecially your videos about how to be a creative who want to live a stressfree life and run a RUclips channel. But also your art videos. You are a big inspiration. I hope to be able to ceeate a RUclips channel as well. Right now I struggle to decide what language to use... Being Swedish it would definitely be easier to speak Swedish. But at the same time I would love to be able to create a small international online community. Focus will be my journey where I re-enchant and renovate my childhood summer cottage, learning to integrate witchcraft, sustainability and creativity in my everyday life🧙♻️🏡
Hello Louise, just found your channel and thank you for sharing!! I've wanted to practice watercolor painting and I just haven't been able to mentally get there but I love your tips, can't wait to try!!💕🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great ideas! I find I'm a great procrastinator as a newbie watercolorist due to my perfectionism. As a classical pianist though, I love discipline. This may be just the ticket I need. Thank you!
Yes this helped so much & was very inspiring. I’ve been in this mindset of being intentional and thinking of the ways I can work on my skills daily towards my artistic goals.
Thank you for sharing your process with us. Your water colors are beautiful, I loved your birds. A question, what type of pencil did you use for the crows? Thank you😊
0:14 Oh god, I also have a wild Dwight on my sketchbook 😂 I felt so exposed with no reason hahah! I also love using animals as a subject, but I'm focused on the drawing boat (I can't decide between watercolor or digital coloring, so I opted for minimalism: just graphite and some black liners 🖤)

Your video was really helpful and affirming to keep up my daily watercolor journal and to not feel the need to hop right to a painting.
