I love going to antique shops too
I love going to vintage shops and looking at crocheted handkerchiefs and doilies! 😊💕
Love the old doilies.
Hi Glenda. Thanks for the tour of the crocheted items at the antique store & then at the thrift store.
Thank you for taking us along I loved it Take care ❤
I look for crochet items when I’m thrift shopping too. You never know what you might find. Thank you for sharing your trip to thrift stores. 🧶🙏🏻💜
Oh wow! The first opening shot was gorgeous!
I love the dollies!
So many sweet crochet items. Love the doll. We’ll be having a grandbaby in the family this winter. This is how I started back to crochet. I’ve already thought about making the bed doll. So excited!
Thanks for sharing
So fun my grandmother used to crochet, those beautiful pineapple doilies. We still have a few at my mom's house.
I enjoyed looking at these!
That was alot of fun, I just wished we had an antique store closer by. I Love seeing the different homemade doilies.
Thanks Glenda!
Thank you, Glenda, these items are lovely!
Good afternoon Glenda 🌞 I was just washing the ones I have from my grandmother. She would have been 115 years old.
Such beautiful finds!
I would love mooching around those shops!
My mother crocheted many doilies. The ruffled ones were starched so the ruffles would stand up around the doily. The center would lay flat. I’m 78 years ago so that was several decades ago.
My grandmother and mother in law use to make doilies and tablecloths.
Love all those lacy doilies!!
Good evening, Glenda. I've never been to an antique store. I have to check one out. Looks like fun.😊
I collect them with pansy edges. Some my Grandma made, some I’ve found in shops.
Many beautiful doilies! I wish I could make one, but I just can't work with fine thread. Thank you for sharing. 🤗
Really good finds❤
My husband bought me a huge garbage bag of doilies at an antique store, paid $5.00. I'm covering a chair with them. Tedious endeavor but it's turning into a beautiful chair.
When we were youngster all under 10 (7) of us, my mom crocheted pineapple doilies, but when us kids went to grandma 's place she asked what mom was doing and my brother told her " she's taking holes and sewing them together" my grandma just looked at him until I told making doilies hahahahaha we still about it 60 years later
😂💙
😂😂😂
Just beautiful. My mom would starch all of her doilies. My baby picture is sitting on one she made. I am 66 years old now. My mom taught me how to crochet when I was 5. ❤❤❤

❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Glenda. Great video.
I wonder is the odd shaped doilies were originally used for the arms of chairs because they look rectangular. just like you could drape them over the arms of chairs. for protection and decoration.
What a great idea for something fun to do! It kind of makes me sad to see someone's hard work in a second hand store, but on the other hand, it 's a great score for someone, giving them a chance to love it again & cherish it.
Lots of great finds. I liked the crochet basket the best, such a neat idea for a gift. Oh hey remember the tobogans (winter hats) that had sodie brand names? Im telling my age a little here, but when we was kiddos, one of us had Mtn Dew, one had Dr. Pepper and one had Crush. We LOVED those hats! Thanks for the video!
👋 Glenda! Mom used to starch her pineapple doily ruffles with jelly jars to form the perfect shape. Would dry overnight. She still loves working with thread, I don't...😂
Awesome 😎💯
☮️🌎🌲
❤❤❤🙏
Those are incredibly beautiful an intricate. I would buy all of them. How would you wash them to remove the age discoloration?
I would try soapy water first

Hi Glenda. I thought it’d be nice to make doilies for Christmas gifts. Do you make them…..tutorials? Watching video now, you may say in video 😊
