I sold of my v1 months ago and just uploaded my first v2 clip. Yes its worth upgrading. The new is more comparable to bigger action cameras than it is to v1. That said, there are still things that can be improved.

Thanks for the video. On EVERY SHOT of this video, corner lack of sharpness and chromatic aberrations on the Go 2 are pretty appalling. Hopefully you got a defective unit with misaligned lens because if this is representation of the final quality of the lens they use on this new camera, this is really pretty bad for the upgrade hype and the price.
This is the review I was looking for! I use the original Go 1 in my skate videos for POV shots. I just purchased the Go 2 a few days ago. Looks like it will have a lot more uses than the Go 1. I can’t wait! New subber here!
This is so, so misleading and confusing! The original Insta360 Go actually records at 2720x2720 @ 25fps while the Go 2 records at 2880x2880 @ 30fps. While The sensor might had increased a tad what's making the magic on the export is the App and not the camera. The App export at 1440p while the old app export at 1080. Don't understand why it couldn't export at 1440p for the old camera. What has improved is the charging case, battery and memory. The image improvements is all driven by software.

I love your channel. Can you make a "Go 2" tutorial video for beginners which covers the best way to download the video clips with maximum quality to your computer. And, include information that covers editing the "Go 2" video with the Studio 2021 desktop software, please? Or, is the "go 2" video only edited on your mobile phone app?

I still use mine insta360 one x. Why keep devolving an idle go pro. Why this spy cam. Im into 360 and 180 3d. Still no mod for new insta for 3d 180 capture. But a second small spy cam come on give new gadget not smaller old tech even if the reslution 8k is still no go for me. I dont even want it for free. Bring back the insta evo instead.
they both not worthy the price my samsung A10 records crystal clear photo only I can not hold the camera all the way.I tried everything but they do fall short the quality , I have go 1 and more worst especial in door ,and the more editing you do the more video quality you lose

Hold on. Why can you not do 60fps, 30fps or even 24fps ? The Go2 is the perfect for recording where you can not or have issues with people getting angry, great stealth camera. I wish they would have thought about removable skins on the camera so you could change the color etc to make it more stealth when needed.
Your presentation is very poor. Very confusing. Why don't you show numbers side by side than one by one. Showing back and forth is confusing... You are Grounded !
The Go 1 allowes 5 minutes recording time per clip. Not 60 seconds. They made this change long time ago for FPV'ers.

It almost seems like the first one is the go 2 if you buy it from Aliexpress. Really impressive just how much better it has gotten.

The tips for using go 1 is export your video using computer, not using mobile app, the video bitrate is slightly reduce in mobile app

They not only thought of that, they sell them on their site - and you can design your own there.
