Another great video, i do hope insta sent you the 128gb camera because after watching lots of reviews on this camera with everyone desperate to keep insta happy your video's seem to be the most honest video's out there and thats what sold me the camera. As i have just ordered one i want to know it's limitations not just how wonderful it is and you have just explained that. They may not realise it but you are more of an asset to insta than any of the other people who review this camera because your reviews seem honest unlike the rest who just come across as just fake.
Hello , I was looking to by the GO 3 and I have not got much knowledge in it all. Can you explain what you mean to me please about missing the quick capture is that very important when taking videos. I tempted to buy one as I’m starting a little RUclips channel up for myself. Many thanks.
@@shanedavies16 the quick capture feature allows you to press the button on the front of the GO 2, and the camera will turn on, record a predefined number of seconds or minutes and turn off. I generally use the camera to take biking and skiing videos with the camera mounted on my helmet. I can’t see what mode it’s in or if it’s on or off. The quick capture gives me an easy way to take lots of short videos. I then combine the short videos into a longer video afterwards. Does this help?

So, I saw the Go 3 and fell in love with the idea of recording vlog-like stuff in tiny areas where my phone can’t reach and with astounding image quality, and a lil pod to look at for reference of settings and framing But I hear that the Go 2 is the better camera and is way cheaper than Go3, so, I’m very torn between Obviously I don’t wanna buy the go 3 now cuz it’s $399.99, but then again, I am willing to make that purchase, cuz I’m so used to seeing the Go 3 and it’s fun versatility Also the action pod is pretty awesome, it’s like a tiny toy camera but it actually works (And also, I have never had one of these before so, very exciting)
I have then Go 2 and really like it. One thing I do not like is that even though it has a USB C port, it needs to be charged with a USB A charger. The screen on the new action pod is also enticing. However, the new action pod is not nearly as pocket friendly. The new mount options seem larger as well. I think I will stick with the Go 2 for now.
Nice video, I just wish the camera was protected in the case like go2 with that clamshell. For storage shake. Still going to get the go3 since I don’t have either. Really loved the info on these models and it really helped.
Hello I have choice to buy insta360go2 used. It’s good choice around 200 euro ? I don’t know if I can find accessories like mounts because I want for motorcycle
Thanks for a great comparison, honesty is a rare trait these days! Since I would have only used the freeframe mode on Go3 and it would not fit in my front jeans pocket anymore in its' new "80s polaroid" design, I made a decision to upgrade my Go2 to DJI Action 2 (which is now only +/- 15g heavier than Go3) and I love the upgrade to 4K 120fps:)). I also loved your older video when you tried making Go2 footage look decent in low light, but unfortunately no amount of tinkering can salvage poor video quality. I guess wait another 2 years for Go4, when all the other cameras shoot in 8K. Keep up your good work!
@PawelA92 Well, Action 2 has way better video quality, weighs almost the same and costs way less than Go3. I set mine at 4:3 ratio with Ultrawide FOV, so I can crop it vertical or horizontal in post and can even reframe with key frames faking camera movements, essentially the pro mode Go2 or Freeframe mode Go3 but in glorious 4k. I never cared for a screen anyway, so an easy choice for me, at least until Go4;))
I have the Go 2, and used the heck out of it, to the point where it finally conked out. I have upgraded to the Go 3, and couldn't be happier. For one, it comes in BLACK, which is much easier to hide when wearing it on your shirt. I rarely wear light colored clothing. Secondly, the housing with the viewfinder makes it much easier for taking photos and vlogging. I basically do use the Go 2/3 as something to capture on the fly shots, since I hang it on my neck, but the Go 3 now gives me many more options. I never took photos with the Go 2 at all, since I couldn't tell exactly what I was shooting. With the Go 3, now I can. And the main difference... NO MORE OVERHEATING! The Go 2 would often overheat even after a couple of minutes, and would be totally out of commission for a long period. The refraction time to get it back up and running was frustratingly long.
you are definitely right and I cant be much happier after I loss my go to now got a voucher for go 3 - but I am thinking of another type like HERO - but I WILL STICK WITH insta because very tiny, I am not sure if the light can be turned when recording like GO2 as my go to when connected with a phone, the LED light is off and no one knows I am recording
@@nuramoboy Yes, there is mode to turn the light off, which I love as well. One minor gripe is that now instead of vibrating when you record, it will beep instead. The vibrating was a bit more discreet, but the beeping isn't too bad though.
Dropped my Go2 in the sea today! It was in the case since I was using it as a tripod. Feel so so sad, I loved this camera sooooo much! The camera itself still works and I can even connect it to my phone and use the app, but I am afraid the display got burned. After this video still not convinced that an upgrade is necessary, maybe will buy again go2. 😞 😭
does anyone know how to delete the movies filling up the camera? Like get them out of the camera to free up the 30 gb for a whole new filming session? I need to do this on my laptop not my phone. My phone controls my hearing aids and extra apps interfere. How do I move my files out of the camera without an app?
I downgraded my go3 to go2, because action pod of go3 dropped once and screen was shattered regardless of the protector i put. So I’ve returned it luckily they refunded and bought X3 instead and GO2 coz of its size and i’ll use it mostly for my small dogs and running. I can just use my phone as action pod lol. And go2 is easier to carry for me at least, reminds me or airpods.
The most important difference seems to be the following: + Less/no overheating + More battery life + Security strap for Go3 - Go3 has no quik capture am i right? - Go2 & Go3 can be both mounted with case If anyone knows good atachements for motorcycle handlebars and helmet I BEG YOU, let me kow.
Check with you. No matter how we hold the camera when recording (I.e vertical or horizontal), the video still will be in landscape mode? Because I see the Go3 mount horizontal and the Go 2 in vertical position in their charging case for video shooting . Can the camera take photo or only for video? Thanks.
You must first select a shooting mode called "free frame," which delivers video that will always have its horizon level. You must use the app or PC program to prepare your free frame video for sharing or editing.
