The tele camera is a bit disappointing coming from the great X100 Pro. Maybe the expectations were a bit high. But also Vivo set the bar high by announcing a DSLM with phone function. I still don't agree with the software being number 2 (and for that matter OneUI being number 1). There are some inconsistencies with animations as the native apps are so differently than all the other apps. Swipe gestures don't allow me to bring notifications or control center with swipes on the home screen (not from the edge but middle left or right). Thats a flaw that HyperOS, EMUI, ColorOS, MagicOS and so on don't have. Regarding the chip. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is poorly optimized currently. The scores are not so important here but the heat and handling of heat. The Pro is better optimized for now.

Got this coming, I know in a video of yours 2 moths ago I said I had the xiaomi 14 ultra coming but it only lasted 2 weeks with me, I prefer origin os that I've been using on my vivo x90 pro plus, photos on my 90 are amazing so can't imagine what my 100 will be like, also the built in editing software is another level, I bought the 16/1tb for £1,078

I think most peoples expectations of this phone are over the top. After all, it is the Ultra. Maybe if Vivo had spent a little more time optimising the software etc. before releasing. Having said that, how great was the Vivo X100 Pro out of the box and did it get better after some updates. Most phones are not perfect out of the box and only get better after the software is better optimised. So only time will tell...
can you review battery as well? can you compare that with Vivo x100 pro , Xiaomi 14 ultra and Honor magic 6 pro? ( not in detail, just give a genera idea)
Maybe other reviewers just didn’t test this phone well, I believe it’s got a great camera content and really professional… for under 1000$ compared to other more expensive phones with lesser phone contents to offer… the only downside is the Chinese rom but for that amount, it’s well compensated

Just imported mine to Gtr Manchester, 30 minutes outside and the lenses have fogged up. Now my X90 Pro Plus never did this and in some extreme temperatures. I sent the X7 Find Ultra back for the same reason earlier this year. I swerved the Xiaomi because of the same issue. Have you had any issues?
So apart from android auto and smart watch linking, will a Chinese ROM device do everything a normal UK android smartphone will do? No issues with banking, google pay...?
Although Dimensity has better scores on tests but it isnt really good for long term use, it overheats fast tbh unlike the Snapdragon, the snapdragon has more features and probably more optimizatized

Dimensity 9300+ is indeed higher in scores. Tried both 8 gen 3 and 9300+. Cooling on dimensity is also better. Tried it on call of duty mobile ultra settings 120. 2.3m dimensity score vs 2m-2.1m on 8 gen 3

I rely heavily on Google interface in my household. Is it really worth the headaches to go through with it or maybe flash the global ROM on a chineese version? I can switch over to a new watch to ease it if need be but this will be my main device. 😅
Do any android phones come with a keyboard as good as the iPhone? Seriously, that's the only thing I liked about my work iPhone. The stock android keyboard is horrobly pre-loaded with incorrect wlrd substitutions, it seems. And no, Gboard doesn't even come close in terms of accuracy of the iPhone.
Its there. I used origin os 1 and it had arabic. The only real problem is android auto and the links in some apps will always open in vivo browser even if u set chrome to default. Also some chinese stuff here and there but nothing major

The telephoto lens is the best available, biggest sensor, most megapixels! just wait a few weeks and the software updates will improve it even more
