I love Sailors and Esterbrooks they always do a amazing job I just purchased another Realo but this time I purchased it In a Maroon color I’m building a 10-12 pen collection I broke my Twsbi in Cafee Bronze yesterday I had only had it for 2 months well I didn’t break it some went wrong with the piston either way I felt no remorse for that pen definitely won’t be buying more im sticking with Sailor and Esterbrook please don’t feel bad about sailor it’s worth the purchase I plan on finishing my collection with primarily sailors because I know they won’t fail me I do love Pelikan I only have a M200 but I wasn’t blown away it’s a smooth juicy writer but I should have purchased it In fine I purchased it in Medium because the deal was so good 100.00 on sale couldn’t pass it up I don’t write as nice with Med sometimes which is why when I use it I only think about my Sailors ( I miss them) when I first used sailors I thought it was HYPE but I was wrong they are amazing even if I only repurchase the same Sailor in the same colors which I’m guilty of I know they won’t fail me and as someone who’s still new I started buying sailors July/aug of 2024 it wasn’t my first pen but it was the pen I couldn’t put down I I started using fountain pens in 2023 now that I’m down to 6 pens I’m hoping to purchase 3 next year and maybe be done by the end of 2025 as long as another interest doesn’t take priority
