Beating Prince Mush in TTYD with 1 HP before Chapter 4!

- In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, I battle Prince Mush before starting Chapter 4 with Mario being in Peril. I used two Mega Rush badges and a Power Rush for Mario.
To unlock Prince Mush, you have to beat Chapter 3 and do the trouble "Help wanted!". I heard you can also fight Prince Mush as early as the Minor League (second time) without having to fight your way through the Glitz Pit a second time, but this is something I did anyway before I got the email. Some sources say you have to beat the entire game first, but I became able to do this fight sometime after I went down to Floor 70 of the Pit of 100 Trials and left. You go to the champion room and he will be available as an Exhibition Match opponent, and your prize for beating him is his belt, another trophy for your Key Items menu.

Dear God with that many life shrooms you might as well call Mario Invincible lmao
Bro thinks he’s Tubba Blubba.
1 hp in other games: 😮💨
1 hp in smash bros : 😐
1 hp in TTYD : 💀
I did basically the same thing just a lot more efficiently. After getting him to activate his fiery fighting spirit and not being able to deal damage, I figured there's 1 reasonable option, double mega rush, lucky day, pretty lucky P, Power bounce and as many as possible power plus badges on, use Goombella, both Mario and her on 1 HP, and then just do Power Lift, Multibonk, Power bounce, Multibonk, and he should go down. You just need to get him in the up and down jumping stance or the kneeling stance, either by stalling or getting a superguard, or just getting lucky on your first turn and him already being vulnerable.
Or just you know, superguard
Yea.

Or go in with a LOT of life shrooms
You don't have to be the champion again to unlock him, I beat him before doing that
I see sources say he's unlocked after Chapter 5 which I think its the unlock condition I got
Great accomplishment!
Also, here's a small correction to the description: you don't need to reconquer the Glitz Pit to fight Mush. I've seen people fight him in the Minor League.
Thanks for that! I updated the description.
I actually beat them like Like he was really hard like honestly. He was so hard and I did first try. Because I had a lot of lifeshrooms and Using some of my party members and holy crunch. He is so hard like I can't believe I feed them. But anyways, that was my thoughts on him
De las mejores miniaturas que he visto 👍👍👍
Yeah about thatt... i just 100% the game the other week... and i NEVER felt the need to guard normally..i just found out remembered that you can normally guard and went:"oh yeah... nope😂"and went on to superguard bc its just too easy for me for...some reason idk😅
i mean, you basacly farm 3 hours the casino, with that much lfie shroom, there was no way you lose lol
Wait, can you actually unlock him before ch4 or is this just a mod? I did jolenes quest as early as possible and he only popped up After ch5
Yes, you can unlock him sooner. He popped up after I did the Pit of 100 Trials as deep as Level 70. You have to let some time pass by and you need to be playing the game for a while before you get the email.
@@MM54321Gamingthats wild, i had no idea! I remember playing for around 30 minutes After Doing the quest (and before going into ch4). Guessing doing the pit has something to do with it
I thought you couldn't even battle Prince Mush until postgame
Nah. All you need to do is answer Jolene’s Trouble, the one that involves boxers, which is available after Chapter 3. Sometime after that, she’ll send you an e-mail telling you that Mush is thinking about returning to the ring. Later on, you’ll get an e-mail from Mush, telling you that he wants a match against you. The e-mails take about a half-hour of in-game time to come in, each, so you’d likely have to wait a while for the e-mails to come in, especially if you want to fight him this early.
try this with bonetail
Prince must was easy for me and I didn't have a life stroll I beat him second try because I managed to Super guard every single one of his stack so his defense would drop btw I lost the fought rock hawk a few time bc a misclick
The misconception of only being able to do this fight in Post-Game is likely due to people avoiding the Help Wanted trouble until the Post-Game.
:).... :3..... :)))) yall are great lol
