Architect Explains a Homes Design & Construction | Bruni Architecture

In this video we walk through one of my home designs and talk a little bit about the floorplan and function. This southern coastal farmhouse has a lot of great features were going to take a look at. This house has mainly gable roof construction & a tower for the main staircase. The exterior will be board & batten & have a metal standing seam roof. Black casement windows & doors will also be installed.

Shared Great room, Dining space & eat in Kitchen with an island
Master suite on ground floor
Porches on all sides of the house
Board & Batten exterior siding
Metal roofing
Black casement windows & doors
Double height foyer with lounge area with cathedral & trey ceilings
Stair with cable railings
Southern farmhouse aesthetic
Gable roofs & hipped roof tower feature

Ooh this is amazing. I’m a senior in high school and going into architecture for my career. I want to experience my creations coming to life too. Heard a lot of people drop out and stuff tho, so very nervous.

Yes when I was college almost half the class dropped and switched majors after first year lol. But if you really put in the work/love it you’ll make it through no problem. Good luck 👍
