Rocker switches are one of the most common switches to fail, at least in my personal experience. I have an arsenal of rocker switches in my shop for when i service equipment
It looks like you might have wired the switch up wrong because when you plugged the power supply in the first time the switch never lit up and then the second time you plugged in the power supply the switch lit up
i think your right, this one was bugging me. the more i think of it. there is no way that piece of alu could have caused my braker and RCD to trip. Had to have been the switch wired wrong.
4:47 i think it was the way you said "put the live and neutral on one side and the other wires go on the other side" instead of live and neutral on the top and the other wires go on the bottom.
I think you wired the switch incorrectly and you shorted live to neutral when turning on instead, ive not watched till the end yet but the two contacts you had continuity on should be live in and out and i think you had them the wrong way round!
I laughed out loud when it went dark…… truly an “oops” moment….

Dean went into the Darkside, or maybe not. 😂
Swap input wires group on the switch because led always on.
Would like to see a review or teardown of one of the new cordless compressors.
was thinking of doing just that myself. might get a new makita one and open it up
They sure went wild with the size of that case. Do they charge by the square centimeter? 😁
What do you think about Parkside Performance tools?

All that money for such a simple device
Could have put it in a housing half the size 😂Also these compressors go for around 100€ here. Ripoff.
Squint and clinch . LOL Its the only safe way. You are not a man till you have been jolted a few times
"Type: Superboxy"
Things you can say about your compressor, but not your wife/girlfriend.
