I'm a lifetime waitress. I feel like I am America. I've taken the lumps, spoken to people, fought to make ends meet, observed varied behaviors in a setting where people feel free to abuse. We work hard in a way others simply do not understand. We feel it when our communities suffer. We hear you talk over coffee. We see you stage for work. We see you relax after work.

We need more people like her. It still baffles me that farmers can vote for trump after he caused so much havoc for them in his first term. We lost more small farms because of his bullshit policies and his tariffs.

But once they got to D.C, they immediately betrayed their progressive ideals and went on to be pro-war, pro-establishment, and started taking money from super PACs. Here in AZ, Sinema became so unpopular for voting against raising the minimum wage, that the AZ Democratic party replaced her with a new nominee for this year's senate election.

Regenerative farming changes how the cattle are treated, and the dairy farm can reduce inputs while maintaining profitability. Its even good for the local wildlife and surrounding comminities because the chemicals are reduced and fertilizers are also reduced.

we all know who controls congress, and its not any of the people on the ballot, well, maybe some of them, but none of them that can be voted out. It would be good to have more people with a conscience in government, but it doesn't change anything other than the percentage of hope that is rational (0-1%?). AOC used to have principles, look at her now. She could've been POTUS but she fell in-line. Look at her videos from back in the day, do you have more passion than she had?
Integrity has an expiration date, it's always at least a few years before you get to make decisions or have influence. I'm not sure if feel good stories are worth anything, if they help or if they hurt. This lady hasn't even won city council and she's auditioning for the big leagues on some soundbites. Maybe she'll write a book, get some instagram followers, very unlikely she'll do anything at all for the people who are pacified by the hope (delusions) she brings them.
