- Step Brothers is about: Brennan Huff is a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy. Dale Doback is a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert. When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as Step Brothers. As their narcissism and downright aggressive laziness threaten to tear the family apart, these two middle-aged, immature, overgrown boys will orchestrate an insane, elaborate plan to bring their parents back together. To pull it off, the Step Brothers must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house.

I moved back into my parents at 37 to save some money for a new house and I quote this movie quite alot. 😅 eveytime my mom is leaving the house I always say "did you leave me money for pizza!" And when she says no I follow up with "that's not enough! What if I want wings!!!" 🤣

I love this movie and quote it ALL THE TIME with friends. It's such a stupid movie, but it's the fun kind of stupid. Sometimes you just need a movie that is so ridiculous and over the top and this checks all of those boxes. I was surprised you wound up reacting to this, but I'm really glad you did! It was quite entertaining seeing you enjoy the humor as much as you did.
I love movies where the actors are all friends and they just have fun. Adam Sandler movies and movies with lots of Saturday night live cast members

I think you don't wake up sleep walkers because they could injure themselves by the different atmosphere.

The DVD commentary for this movie is hilarious, because they decided to do it as a musical... They sing about the scenes, occasionally putting in some actual information.

Please watch Will in Blades of Glory next, please! :) And, although I'm 99.9% sure you have never seen/heard of the tv show "21 Jump Street," I think you'd love the movie! (the tv show was Johnny Depp's first huge break - it was about young cops who go undercover at high schools to stop crime)

This movie will always crack me up to no end. The fact that they watched a Steven Seagal movie when they finally bonded was incidentally the funniest thing when I finally got to show my oldest brother this movie, as he brought upon the glory of Seagal action movies (for better or worse) upon my other older brother and myself. Throw in this movie having a bunkbed, and far too many other things... well, they nailed sibling brotherhood.

Step Brothers veers a little too childish at times but that is the funniest exchange. John C Reilly being an amazing dramatic actor makes this kind of lowbrow comedy funnier somehow, like how Mary Steenburgen and *Richard Jenkins are hilarious.
Craig T. Nelson is funny, but not in this movie. That's Richard Jenkins as Mary Steenbergen's husband. He used to be on the TV series Six Feet Under, and he's been in movies like Eat Pray Love, Cabin In the Woods, and the Shape of Water.

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are so funny in this film but I absolutely love Mary Steenburgen in this. She is hilarious and one of my favorite actresses. I hope you watch more of her films.

I believe Time After Time was the role that first brought Mary Sternbergen to prominence. It's an extremely enjoyable movie based on a great premise -- H.G. Wells uses the Time Machine to chase Jack the Ripper into the future -- and you can watch Mary and her first husband Malcolm McDowell, who plays Wells, falling in love. Of course, nowadays she's with her second husband Ted Danson, who played Michael on The Good Place.
Will Ferrell's singing got better by the time he did his Eurovision movie. I honestly think it's an underated film, with some really good songs. Not a ground breaking film but underated. I think it will be received better with age.

Every once in a while a movie comes out of left field and is way better than it has any right to be, and well, Step Brothers is one of those films. The premise of this film is so bat **** krazy, you have to wonder what was being smoked during the writer meetings, as I want some. LOL And a special nod to Kathryn Hahn as her character of Alice was the stand out in this film and that is saying something, she absolutely killed every scene she was in.

how much I appreciate you keeping it decent on your channel. I actually cancelled several subscriptions this very day bc I couldn’t stand their use of foul, disgusting language while reacting. I understand that movies have that content sometimes. But some reactors just begin dropping bombs every time something happens and I got weary of listening to it.
