Of course Subaru can’t confine in him things such as RBD due to Satella/Envy’s curse, but I can see Subaru, out of all of his allies, trusting Halibel the most, if you get what I mean.
I wish WhiteFox would make an OVA or Movie about this. It would make alot of sense because this was Rem's final thought before her name and memories we're devoured and it would make alot of Rem Fans super happy.

Halibel is my favorite character. He's more than charismatic, he's actually really really sweet also. In the Wrath IF, when Subaru was being hunted down by Reindhart and when he was attacked by Frederica, Halibel protected him and didn't want to leave Subaru behind, and explained how he wanted to be Subaru's friend.

Thinking, perhaps, _perhaps_ , Emilia isn’t actually dead? It’s a reach, but technically the only time she’s been previously shown to die (with Subaru and Rem elsewhere) was when the cultists took them prisoner beforehand. It’s not as if no knights exist (besides Reinhardt) that are capable of eradicating the cult, it’s just that they were unlikely to be there without reason. Not to say there weren’t several deaths involved in that outcome as well, but them leaving her to her fate isn’t necessarily her definitely dying?
@@alecLogan But Reinhard is the only guy that's capable of eradicating the WHOLE cult, with it's archbishops and Pandora because other knights would just find themselves dead. Also, even if Puck really had to go on a rampage I highly doubt that he would make it that far to actually kill thousands of people and he'll be spotted right away, killed by Reinhard and it's done. It was always really funny to me that the author really just said that throughout the whole plot of show, matter how many more powerful characters he'll introduce, it'll never change the fact that Reinhard is the most powerful character there is and he did say that in ReZero world there was no one even as strong as him in the past, in the present and even in the future.
Nah, Reinhardt doesnt need to use muscles, speed or skills to defeat Puck or anyone, he has cheatcodes from the writer. Divine Protection of wishing anything and it become true. Divine protection of auto defense against anything, of being frozen to death, disease and more. The only weakness he suffered are stupidity or plotwise, as he could wish to detect the witch cult and he would find them and they wouldnt be able to kill him. But the story would end without Subaru even lifting a hand

Remember in ep 18 when Puck kills Betelgeuse and Subaru then says "in accordance to my contract, I will now destroy the world"? well right after we cut off, Reinhardt shows up saying "sorry but I can't allow that to happen", pulls out the Dragon Sword from its sheath and decapitate puck in a single hit. There. Spoiled and just enough to not know when the info will be revealed :3 EDIT: so yes, the scene happens in season 1 but we only get the info in season 2, which makes it a spoiler.
I honestly love the way that he does the "If" stories. Makes me wish that he'd pick back up his older series where he just did normal chapters as well too, but maybe from an earlier part in Re: Zero, perhaps where the anime's season two ends, when it ends, as sort of an Echidnit version of season three?

Got the same idea. Maybe she survived the witch cult because she was searching for rem at that time and was absent at the mansion. you know the story could have changed cuz of the situation that changed.
@@wilverdeypalubos114 maybe ram stole that ball years ago? I mean, in the manga apparently Al (that knight that served Priscilla, who apparently is from subaru's world too) confused Rem for Ram. And for a moment had like a "saiyan aura" but then just dropped the topic like nothing.

Ram made it actually. She is in the sanctuary at this point of the story if I remember correctly. Her and clown magic guy went there with half the town. forgot if that was after
@@jaltersimp9639 i think ram only goes to sanctuary in the timeline subaru convinces them to evacuate. otherwise, ram gets killed alognside everyone else at the mansion by either cultists or puck (as seen in the first loop where subaru sees everyone death, thanks to rem, ram was able to at least protect petra if only for minutes longer. in the second try, she probably died earlier)

Thinking, perhaps, _perhaps_ , Emilia isn’t actually dead? It’s a reach, but technically the only time she’s been previously shown to die (with Subaru and Rem elsewhere) was when the cultists took them prisoner beforehand. It’s not as if no knights exist (besides Reinhardt) that are capable of eradicating the cult, it’s just that they were unlikely to be there without reason.
Not to say there weren’t several deaths involved in that outcome as well, but them leaving her to her fate isn’t necessarily her definitely dying?
@@alecLogan But Reinhard is the only guy that's capable of eradicating the WHOLE cult, with it's archbishops and Pandora because other knights would just find themselves dead. Also, even if Puck really had to go on a rampage I highly doubt that he would make it that far to actually kill thousands of people and he'll be spotted right away, killed by Reinhard and it's done. It was always really funny to me that the author really just said that throughout the whole plot of show, matter how many more powerful characters he'll introduce, it'll never change the fact that Reinhard is the most powerful character there is and he did say that in ReZero world there was no one even as strong as him in the past, in the present and even in the future.
Nah, Reinhardt doesnt need to use muscles, speed or skills to defeat Puck or anyone, he has cheatcodes from the writer. Divine Protection of wishing anything and it become true. Divine protection of auto defense against anything, of being frozen to death, disease and more. The only weakness he suffered are stupidity or plotwise, as he could wish to detect the witch cult and he would find them and they wouldnt be able to kill him. But the story would end without Subaru even lifting a hand
