Does resetting also remove the information of the owner? For instance bluelink account etc.?

@Atahon88 it will disconnect the car from your bluelink account. You just have to reconnect them back. The reset puts it back to when the car was first purchased, so it deletes all your settings like : user profiles, radio stations, phone connections, seat, mirrors..... etc.

Appears to very helpful....after the Oct. '24 update my Kia Connect failed red Kia bars. Kia Connect could not see the head unit either. Question....will doing this procedure also erase the latest update or will it be retained?

It will keep the latest update, but will remove all your settings and saved stations. Just have to add them back.
