They filtered you out on purpose. They don’t want you. This movie seems so bizarre.
On paper, this is a great way to intergrate Fox and MCU, develop the multiverse for the Saga, and it could raise philosophical questions (but still in a comedic way) especially with DP's self awareness and the whole multiverse thing. Wolverine comes across as unneeded, ESPECIALLY after Logan.
But by the trailers, WOLVERINE IS THE BEST PART. 20+ years Jackman played the character, this is the best he's ever looked. Instead, the TVA looks like a bunch of faceless mercenaries. And DP's self aware jokes seem so tired and dated.
John likes to say, temper your expectations, but here he goes on ignoring his own words.
Sometimes, certrain projects transcend your mind and awaken emotions of excitement.
@@REDANDSILVER741 I try to keep my emotions in check. I'm excited to see it, but I don't think about it every day, nor do I mark my calendar and say it's almost gameday like Ray does. If you're one of those, I hear ya bro, but that's not me. Because once you start overthinking it and you tell yourself I expect to see this or that and it's not there, this is why Marvel fans are sometimes annoying, when they don't see "WHAT THEY WANT", that's when the hate/review bombing starts.

@@darthkso3745 So, it can be the next Avengers or Star Wars film also. I think of it like this, it's like when you drink one whole can of a monster drink at one time for that sugar rush, but once your body figures out that it was all sugar, it makes you crash and burn a few hours later. Marvel/Star Wars fans pump themselves up with that initial rush, but if it bombs, it all comes crashing back down.
I'm not worried about getting a popcorn bucket.
Bought our tickets 2 months ago when the first advanced tickets went on sale. We are so hyped for the 25th! Even more so after seeing this.

This is my most anticipated movie this year and amazed that the comedy came through translation wise to that Chinese audience. I can’t wait to see this movie.
I've gotten to the point like John said of being afraid of the movie not reaching my expectations. And the fact that all the trailers we've been getting is all the same footage makes me wonder who or what is in this. But I am expecting a great Marvel movie

As per Origins, while i agree that the dropped the ball, i loved Liev Shrieber's take on sabertooth, best live action version imo... (opinion may change with the new film and its cameos, but so far Liev has been the best)

The Marvel Legends are the Deadpool Legacy collection, based on Deadpool 2. Hopefully we get a proper Deadpool & Wolverine wave though.
Tbh I've always enjoyed Marvel/Fox and MCU projects that have humor in them (snippets in Spider Man), 2 Deadpool movies, Black Widow movie SheHulk(calm down), Avengers Movies, Loki Season 1, Wandavision, Secret Invasion. Cannot WAIT to see this opening night!

So pissed I got tickets for fathers day an opening night showing but have to trade it in for a matinee because my boss is taking a leave that week that's already scheduled. Have to stay off social media to avoid spoilers..even now its about time to get off.. lol...
While I am massively excited for Deadpool and Wolverine, I must issue a warning that maybe this movie is being a tad bit overhyped. All this talk of cameos, losing your minds, it just feels like this movie is being overhyped and maybe causing the audience to believe some stuff that they think is in the movie, isn't. I feel this might end up hurting the movie big time. I get this is THE movie to set up the X-Men, but a lot of pressure is being added onto the movie each and every time we hear new info. So im gonna temper my expectations so i won't end up disappointed by what could be an AWESOME movie

I can't wait. Here in Japan the theaters sell a lot of things like files/folders and other stationary type things. I always buy those up. I do think expectations are getting higher than what is safe, but I also think the movie will deliver. I feared it would be a little Thor Love and Thunder like in that it is filled with jokes, but I just rewatched Deadpool 1 and 2 and he was already very heavy with the jokes. But if Logan is there to balance it out that is even better. 15 days to go for me. Woot.

The chinese market has to be a bit skewed. They dont always get to watch marvel movies at the cinema. Let alone a movie with desdpool and wolverine and let alone with the 2 actors present also. Laughter and applause dont say anything anymore. We have heard 20mins of claplinf for a mid movie.

Watched the first 35min and I can only confirm, that the film is VERY funny, and the action is EXCELLENT…, it might genuinely be the best Marvel film since Avengers Infinity War…, Deadpool & Wolverine will break all the box office records…

Im going into this like I went into Across the Spider-Verse, with low expectations because the original was so great. ATSV was even better than the original. Can only hope that’s the case with this one.

7:28 X-Men Origins had some good scenes, but the romantic plot was abysmal, and the overall story was lacking. The third act fell apart hard, and the first act sucked too. The second act was better, thanks to the culmination of good scenes.
First act had some good parts imo. The montage of the wars they fought in and Ryan Reynolds Spinning Swords and line delivery were cool.
Is a guilty pleassure, not as good as The Wolverine or Logan but it have his own charm
I hope it's not to much stuff.

We have already been duped into a similar situation with Dr Strange 2.....for months upon months it was all these rumours and buzz around who was gonna be in it, it was gonna be an open book and anything is possible and then.....all that hype realistically was just like 10 mins of the actual film and it went so fast and felt so throw away that it left people shrugging at the end and asking questions...
I don't think this will be that by a stretch but the hype levels are getting to the heights now where I don't think the movie itself can reach....i hope I'm wrong but there's only so much you can cram into a 2 hr movie and still make it have a coherant plot line that works...
I'm optimistic and I want to be absolute mind blown watching it but I will keep my expectations in check, as hard as that has been to do...

Marvel has definitely struggled as of late, no doubt there. They stretched themselves too thin with content output. But with that said this is the only major marvel project coming out this year and it’s safe to assume they’re putting time and effort into this project and ppl who actually care to put out a good film

The people behind marvel are to busy trying to recreate that same magic that made marvel what it was before until endgame. This new avengers roster is not it they need to move on from avengers explore the x-men its so many other marvel characters they can play with but there to busy trying to put there agendas on characters and change there origins. @@FenrirBeer There’s literally an article about how Ryan Reynolds pitched 25 ideas to Feige and got rejected before they settled on the film we have now. That means Feige has more of an imprint on this project than you might think and given you’re somebody who reads the trades & pays attention to every detail of Marvel’s production I find it interesting how look passed this information.
If I have to complain about something is that I don't like the villain. Maybe I'm wrong, but the trailers are more about the jokes.
I think this is a vehicle for a recast of wolverine. Deadpool kills him at the end. Hugh retires for real.

Agreed. That’s why all I want out of this movie is a fun dynamic between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. No care about the cameos, just the title characters.

Bc I highly doubt that Pyro “burns” them off, bc the X-Men had to make that suit fire resistant, so I think he fight the Hulk & the Hulk rips off his arms & Deadpool probably picks them up & say something like “Damn it, TIME OUT AGAIN!” & say “Come on, man you know your gonna need these back” & like puts them back on Wolverine & they just heal back together rather than having to grow the muscle & tissue all back together. 🤷🏽♂️ whatcha guys think?

Female here, and I have serious super hero fatigue. Unless it has rave audience and critic reviews AND it's been a week since it's come out (That's the amount of time for enough reviews to be in) then I'm not spending money to see it.
I can understand that but pretty much majority of the existing fanbase knows we breaking that rule for this one. Whether it’s good or it sucks, Deadpool has done right by us enough to receive the benefit of the doubt.
