To see how many spotify audiobook hours you have left or when it renews you have to press on your account> settings and privacy>account>plan overview> then press on the listening hours section of “plan includes” and you will see how many hours you have left and when it renews!

spotify does tell you they go based on 1x listening speed for your hours used for audiobooks. so sadly listening at a faster speed does not give you more hours ☹️
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who really doesn’t understand Owala’s color combos! I love that water bottle but I really don’t like alot of the colors. I got lucky tho and found one of the Whole Foods limited edition pink ones and it’s way more neutral and cute!!

I always feel like if I can buy the audiobook for less than what I pay for the credit then I don’t want to use a credit. And that happens more often then you would think.

imagine, im in Mexico audiobooks in Spotify it’s no even an option, audible it’s expensive and Libby doesn’t have a lot of options, it’s bad here lol😭 I have to wait every month for my credit in audible
i agree with the set up of spotify. i also wish each individual in a family subscription got access to audios cause id love to have them but i dont have my own subscription

Hi I love your podcast and each of your individual videos too. So Spotify does only count listening time as 1x speed progress even if you're listening to it faster. I have only just recently found out though that you can actually check and see how much listening time you have left and when it renews. If you click on your profile icon, then click settings and privacy, then account, then click on your plan, the. It should come up saying plan includes 15 hours listening time (obviously only if it's premium) then if you click on that it will show you how much you have listened to and how much you have left. But it only counts it but hour, not like 5.5 hours if that makes sense. Hope this helps even though you might not see this 😊

On the topic of spotify audiobooks, personally I think the thing that is the most unfair about it is that while it’s been available in usa for a year like you said it’s literally also only available in a few other countries. I live in europe in I’ve been waiting for audiobooks to come here because I have spotify premium and I’m paying the same as you but with less features. And I never hear anyone talk about it :(

i just experienced the audiobook issues with spotify! i was trying to finish a 33 hour book (i have the physical copy) as much as possible with my 15 hours, so i listened at 2x speed thinking “oh 15 hours at 2x speed is 30 hours and then i can read the other 3 hours in the physical book”…. NOPE stopped me after only 7.5 hours 🙄
Yeah, it doesn’t adjust the time listened based on speed. You just end up using your hours faster, I was sooooo mad when I found this out.

If you want a series where the main character’s die at any moment then read Game of Thrones. I know you’ve mentioned you don’t like the way women are treated in that series but that series is heavily based on history and women were treated horribly throughout history. It’s really more like historical fiction than fantasy. But I agree that more authors should take notes from George R.R. Martin and not be afraid to kill their characters, it makes for a much more interesting and engaging read.
also smth else that aggravates me is that on a Spotify premium family plan you can’t share listening hrs amongst family members only the head of the account can use it

Love the podcast but sometimes the jumping straight from one topic to the next looses me. I feel like sometimes Sara gets cut off mid sentence and then it’s a completely different conversation. Not hate but just wanted to give some constructive criticism that I know other people have been thinking. Better structure and editing would do wonders! It’s okay to have a pause here and there❤
