This is so much needed in our world not just for children but for adults too. I am grateful to God for giving you such a beautiful gift to teach on this.
I am finishing up the Comparative Worldview curriculum with my 9 year old, and I am really looking forward to starting the Studying the Bible one next. Thank you for all that you and your team are doing!
I have been praying to find you and didn’t even know it. Thank you for your obedience and work in the kingdom. And thank you Jesus for raising up this wonderful women teacher for our children.
Thank you so much!! You’ve been such a blessing to my family through your teachings! We currently use the “comparative worldview curriculum “ that you developed.
So excited for the new curriculum for ages 4-8! We just purchased the curriculum you have available for that age, and I’m looking forward to going through it with my kids (ages 1, 3, and 5)
I always though to read you go from left to right a from the top to the bottom. Of course, in Hebrew you go from the right to the left. That’s how you read not that complicated.
Question - would you suggest approaching Apologetics first before teaching kids how to read and study the Bible? That way, they understand that what they are going to be reading IS TRUE and why we can trust that it is before diving into the Bible. Just curious your thoughts. Thank you for your inspiration and encouragement!
Good question. Either one can be done first. We recommend that parents start one at the age of eight and then follow up with the other by the age of nine. If families have more time (i.e. homeschooling families) both can be done simultaneously.
I'd be interested to know how you teach children about the Old Testament. Take Numbers 31, for instance, in which Moses declares his status as a war criminal; "Numbers 31: 9 - "Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. 10They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. 11After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, 12they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho. 13Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp. 14But Moses was furious with all the generals and captainsa who had returned from the battle. 15“Why have you let all the women live?” he demanded. 16“These are the very ones who followed Balaam’s advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD’s people. 17So kill all the boys and all the women who have had intercourse with a man. 18Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves. 19And all of you who have killed anyone or touched a dead body must stay outside the camp for seven days. You must purify yourselves and your captives on the third and seventh days. 20Purify all your clothing, too, and everything made of leather, goat hair, or wood.”

That was the best summary of the Bible I’ve ever heard!

Oh - to see children taught to study their Bibles on their own. The idea kids can't handle it is a mistake so many churches are making.
However, the bigger issue is not having enough "biblically" trained teachers to do that. :/ Lots of work to do!
@@nonaccount4684then change the church you go to.
