    I love what you're doing!! As a mom of 6 I, too, am praying for the Lord to use my children however He pleases- ESPECIALLY in those areas that I find distasteful! 😆 He is so good!

    My kids took their free will and ran with it! 💔 I've made many mistakes wishing I was raised different. Teaching my kids better. They're was no biblical guidance for me growing up. Did what I know at the time. Now all I can do is 🙏

    As a previous teacher who didn't have kids, I wish I could go back and done those conferences so differently. Without having kids of my own there was no way I could feel what they feel as a parent. Just that alone makes me sad bc I would now have said and suggested things lots differently. Also- I cannot get on board with ghe church family suggestion. We are on our 4th church and the children care services are scary, untrustworthy and the preaching is all over the place. Maybe 2 decades ago in smaller towns this could be true but not now, not a city of a million.

    Aloha Elizabeth from the rainbow state. I love Hawaii and the fact that the state motto & emblem is God's commemorative sign that the earth will be a stable home for the potential of human flourishing until Jesus returns to judge the world and create the heavens and earth anew. We recently were blessed with a baby boy and now we are evaluating the suitability of our state to raise up our little disciple. There is a growing contingent in this state who want to redefine what God invented like rainbows, marriage, family, sex, and even that love means discipline and obedience. We know that parents led by the Holy Spirit are the greatest influence on raising children (if they don't abdicate their God given authority to the state or others) but beyond parents how big of an influence do you think living intentionally in a certain area like different states California vs. Georgia for example?

      Ohhh this is a big discussion in our home too!! I'm in Florida- too purple for us and we've been trying to get to Alabama. I prayed about this bc we were ready and within days so many things became very obvious that we were meant to stay. So it's on the back burner bc we clearly have more to do here but for your family it may be a case where you are called to go... Pray- ask for signs and reflect. I don't think it's a unreasonable thought at all.

    Q. Elizabeth, did your parents encourage you to go off to college at a secular university? I’ve seen high school kids who were on fire for Jesus go off to college and come back with a complete rejection of anything having to do with a biblical worldview. It’s especially prevalent with students going into fields of the arts or psychology.

      Hi, Jennifer. Elizabeth's parents encouraged her and her siblings to attend Christian universities. You are correct. Many teens from Christian homes walk away from the faith in college. That is one of the main reasons why Foundation Worldview does what it does. We want to help kids carefully evaluate the truthfulness of every idea they encounter so that they discover for themselves that Christianity lines up with reality.

    Are you hoping to raise kids who lack free will?

      How do you define free will?

    • @FLMegan
      @FLMegan Год назад +4

      We are all born with free will.

      That feels like not a great question. She talks about it not being a guarantee because of free will within the first 3 minutes of the video.
