I have a question do you think Hyogen/Brown gas can help bad strains of bacterial/streptococcus thrive and worse someone's health? I have had problems with my colon and gut health, I'm just worried in case breathing & drinking brown gas (water) could possibly be helping feed this strain of bacterial worsening the problem even more. Thanks for these videos.

However, let me share an anecdote. Over the past years, I have gone to chiropractors and physical therapists with little results. Sometimes there's improvement but then it never sticks. However, after 15 weeks on a no oil, whole foods plant based diet I'm seeing my bodies ability to heal significantly better. Something about oil and high protein puts a lot of stress on the body.
I learned this by first hearing about the work of Dr. Walter Kempner, who healed people on their death beds with a rice diet. It turns out that there is definitely something profound to a whole foods diet which eliminates all animal products, dairy and factory oils.

Do you know of any H2 testimonial websites that support these studies? I bought a Browns Gas machine and inhaled 30% H2 gas for about 2 to 3 hours daily, totalling 75 hours of use so far without any noticeable effects (no change in energy or sinusitis, skin) and only seam to be able to find George Wisemans' experiences with H2. Hello Christina,
We're actually going to be posting a testimony video this month with a women who has Brittle Bone Disease who has used hydrogen therapy for a couple years, and her testimony is pretty amazing. I think you will find it interesting and encouraging.
I know of a few Facebook groups I can point you towards that shares testimonials of H2 therapy.
      H2 Molecular Hydrogen Water: facebook.com/groups/260475081138979
      Hydrogen therapy: facebook.com/groups/2007722542806647
      H2 Competitor Forum: facebook.com/groups/1105733942886071
      Hydrogen Water Group: facebook.com/groups/1391059724446463
Note: This group is focused specifically on hydrogen gas as a therapeutic agent. The group does not support or endorse any specific company or product, but rather provides unbiased truthful information based on science to help people arrive at their own conclusions. This group is the largest of the four FB groups I have shared and several credible authorities in the research of H2 therapy, including myself address inquiries or share H2 studies in this group.
Also it's important to remember that molecular hydrogen is a gaseous signal modulator and its primary mechanism of action is signal transduction and alteration of gene expression. It can be a rather timely process (e.g. a number of weeks to months) for those alterations in gene expression and reduction in oxidative stress/inflammation to produce statistical changes or a subjective feeling of overall improved disease status. Most hydrogen studies range from 2 weeks~12 + months on H2 therapy. It's rare to see single-bout and/or acute/short-term administration of hydrogen gas in studies. Those studies seem to have mixed data, positive, or inconclusive.
I will give you a few examples of this:
      - This study showed that 4 weeks of drinking hydrogen water regulated over 1000 genes in the liver.
"Using DNA microarrays, 548 upregulated and 695 downregulated genes were detected in the liver after 4 weeks of administration of hydrogen water."
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21512236/
      - This case study report published recently demonstrated that hydrogen gas administrated via inhalation cause a metastatic brain tumor to completely disappear after a year of doing hydrogen inhalation.
Brain Metastases Completely Disappear in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Using Hydrogen Gas Inhalation: A Case Report.
"After 4 months, the size of multiple brain tumors was reduced significantly, and the amount of hydrocephalus in the third ventricle and lateral ventricles reduced significantly. After 1 year, all brain tumors had disappeared"
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/31908482
      - Here is another example of hydrogen inhalation outperforming and certified approved pharmaceutical drug for stroke patients (drug: Edaravone).
Hydrogen Gas Inhalation Treatment in Acute Cerebral Infarction: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Study on Safety and Neuroprotection.
The H2 group inhaled 3% H2 gas (1 hour twice a day), and the control group received conventional intravenous medications for the initial 7 days. The evaluations included daily vital signs, NIHSS scores, physical therapy indices, weekly blood chemistry, and brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans over the 2-week study period."
"Thus, this study indicates that the effects of the inhalation of H2 were more beneficial than those of the administration of edaravone."
      www.strokejournal.org/article/S1052-3057(17)30294-X/fulltext?cc=y=
      - My last example, shows that hydrogen water was able to reduce the disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis patients causing remission for those within the first year of their diagnosis in only 3 months.
"Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) drank 530 ml of water containing 4 to 5 ppm molecular hydrogen (high H2 water) every day for 4 weeks."
"The DAS28 was evaluated at baseline, after 4 weeks of drinking high H2 water, at 8 weeks after the wash-out period, and at 12 weeks after another 4 weeks of drinking the water."
"All the 5 patients with early RA (duration

Secondly the administration dose may be too low. You might try increasing the H2 inhalation system at 100% production capacity, which will produce approx 600 mL/min of H2 or more with that system.
That is a far better H2 administration level than the 300 mL/min you're receiving at the 30% duty cycle. The higher flow rate will offer higher therapeutic potential and will compensate for the losses associated with H2 inhalation.

First question is I wonder why setting the machine at 30% H2 is recommended for women, saying that we cannot absorb more anyway, and men are recommended to inhale 40% because of their larger lung capacity. Also, Wiseman reminds us that 100% H2 is highly explosive and basically used for welding.? Tanks again Tywon:)

Any benefits for skin or acne?

    • @H2MinuteswithTywonHubbard
      @H2MinuteswithTywonHubbard  Год назад +1

      Hello Xyso,
Yes, molecular-hydrogen has therapeutic potential for the skin and may benefit Acne based on the studies. We plan on doing video for H2 and the skin at some point in the future.
Here is a study on H2 and Acne:
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7912839/
Here is an article on H2 and the skin:
      www.molecularhydrogeninstitute.com/molecular-hydrogen-for-skin
Here is something I wrote for another client a couple of years ago:
"Hello John Kim, I don't have any direct sources for H2 and acne. However, I think hydrogen may have some potential and a indirect case can be made for H2 having a positive effect on acne.
First, it's apparent that keratinocytes (keratin), ROS, inflammation, and sebum are critical players for acne.
"Acne is a disease of the pilosebaceous units in the skin. A changed keratinisation pattern in the hair follicle leads to blockage of sebum secretion.30 "
"The enlarged follicular lumen attributable to inspissated keratin and lipid debris forms a closed comedone (whitehead)."
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2585707/
"The first line of the defense in the skin is keratinocytes which are located in the outermost layer of the skin and known to produce a large quantity of ROS (reactive oxygen species), primarily for antimicrobial effects and reduction of microbial virulence factors at high level [8]."
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3407032/
Hydrogen might not only have regulatory effects for redox homeostasis for keratinocytes but also may help to clear the hair follicles pores of keratin and sebum.
"The control of these intracellular processes (keratinocytes) by diffusible H2 is important and thus H2 may have reduced the level of inflammation seen in erythematous skin disease."
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3407032/
"Immediately after taking a bath filled with hydrogen warm water, the skin moisture increased by 5-10% as compared to before bathing, which was kept on for the 7-day test"
"Cleansing of keratin plugs in skin-pores was assessed by stereoscopic microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. After hydrogen warm water bathing, the numbers of cleansed keratin plugs also increased on cheek of subjects 2.30- to 4.47-fold as many as the control for normal warm water. And areas of cleansed keratin plugs in the cheeks increased about 1.3-fold as much as the control"
"Our results suggest that hydrogen permeates deeply into skin and scavenges reactive oxygen species, resulting in inhibition lipid peroxidation in sebum-filled hair follicles"
"Furthermore, hydrogen warm water exhibited the cleansing effect of keratin plugs on nostril and cheek more markedly than normal warm water, showing the thorough cleansing by hydrogen warm water, keratin-plugs of residual amounts that could not be cleansed by normal warm water could be removed effectively."
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5937298/
H2 for skin definitely has some significant potential and it may very well have significant potential for acne too. This covers some of the aspects that could be investigated. There are also hormones that could be involved that H2 may have an effect on as it's been demonstrated to have positive effect on the HPA- axis also."
      I hope this helps.

      Could it help with MS?

    • @H2MinuteswithTywonHubbard
      @H2MinuteswithTywonHubbard  Год назад +1

      Hello
Yes, hydrogen therapy appears to have therapeutic potential for MS.
Here is a response I wrote for another client regarding hydrogen therapy, which may be helpful. He had a spinal cord disorder and was also interested in MS.
"It sounds as if you have a Demyelinating Disorder (conditions that result in damage to the protective covering (myelin sheath) that surrounds nerve fibers in your brain, optic nerves, and spinal cord). Molecular hydrogen may be highly therapeutic for your condition (Transverse myelitis) for several reasons based on the preliminary data, but I will list two or three big ones.
First, hydrogen has been shown to decrease inflammation and oxidative stress of the central nervous system (CNS) and the spinal cord, which are two of the main proponents of the disorder ("Accumulating data indicate that oxidative stress (OS) plays a major role in the pathogenesis of Transverse myelitis." [1] www.scribd.com/document/59943942/Use-of-Noni-in-Transverse-Myelitis)
"Furthermore, HRW treatment prevented infiltration of CD4(+) T lymphocytes into the CNS and inhibited Th17 cell development without affecting Th1 cell populations. (reduction of inflammations in the CNS)" [2] linkinghub.elsevier.com/retrieve/pii/S0165-5728(16)30042-X
"Conclusions: Hydrogen inhalation (75%) ameliorated SCI (spinal cord injury) in vivo and attenuated neuronal mechanical injuries in vitro, and its protective effect on spinal cord neurons was exerted in a dose-dependent manner. The underlying mechanisms included reducing ROS generation and oxidative stress, inhibiting neuronal apoptosis, and restoring mitochondrial construction and function." [3]
      karger.com/cpb/article/47/1/176/75465/Inhalation-of-Hydrogen-of-Different-Concentrations
Secondly, hydrogen appears to promote axonal regeneration and remyelination, both of which may be important for this disorder especially since the myelin sheath are damaged by the inflammation. Furthermore, hydrogen has the potential to reduce the "misfiring" or excessive activation of the astrocytes and microglia both of which have been shown to play an active role in the disease and inflammatory process of the CNS. This effect of hydrogen was also responsible for the reduction of pain and neuropathic pain.
"suggesting that hydrogen saline enhanced axonal regeneration and remyelination." [4]
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4508974/
"We also showed that the analgesic effect of hydrogen-rich normal saline was associated with decreased activation of astrocytes and microglia, attenuated expression of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in the spinal cord." [5]
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4032255/
Lastly, hydrogen has already been demonstrated to have therapeutic potential for similar Demyelinating Disorders, such as MS (Multiple sclerosis) via the reduction of inflammation and inflammatory mediator (pro-inflammatory cytokines) in the CNS.
"Because HRW is non-toxic, inexpensive, easily administered, and can readily cross the blood-brain barrier, our experiments suggest that HRW may have great potential in the treatment of MS." [6]"
      pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27138092/
"Here, we determined the effect of HRS in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), which is a generally accepted model of the immuno-pathogenic mechanisms underlying MS. We found that HRS reduced the severity of EAE in mice and alleviated inflammation and demyelination. Furthermore, treatment with HRS attenuated oxidative stress in EAE mice. Finally, the results of our study suggest that activation of the Nrf2-ARE pathway plays a critical role in the protective effects of HRS in EAE mice."[7]
      link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10753-018-0915-3
      I hope this helps.

      Hello Tellitallnow,
This is an overview of our health effects of hydrogen gas videos. We provide scientific evidence and research studies in the description of each video. I suggest watching the videos that interest you and then checking the description for a review of our sources.
Note: We use the term "therapeutic potential" because, despite having over 2000 scientific studies published on hydrogen therapy, we currently lack phase 3 clinical trials. Therefore, a scientific consensus cannot be conclusively drawn at this point, limiting the clinical use of hydrogen therapy for the time being. Thus, we use "potential" to be transparent, acknowledging that while the evidence is exceedingly promising, it has not yet reached a stage where it can be utilized clinically. This approach allows us to maintain honesty and integrity regarding the current state of research data.
If you're seeking evidence, I'll list a couple of sources and quotes here:
“H2 has a number of advantages as a potential antioxidant: it effectively neutralizes •OH in living cells, and, unlike most known antioxidants, which are unable to successfully target organelles30, it has favorable distribution characteristics: it can penetrate biomembranes and diffuse into the cytosol, mitochondria, and nucleus. Despite the moderate reduction activity of H2, its rapid gaseous diffusion might make it highly effective for reducing cytotoxic radicals. Its ability to protect nuclear DNA and mitochondria suggests that it could reduce the risk of lifestyle-related diseases and cancer.”
      www.nature.com/articles/nm1577
      www.researchgate.net/publication/6345492_Hydrogen_acts_as_a_therapeutic_antioxidant_by_selectively_reducing_cytotoxic_oxygen_radicals
“Hydrogen has marked therapeutic potential to help with the top 8 fatality-causing diseases listed by the CDC.”
      medicalgasresearch.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/2045-9912-3-10
“Recent publications revealed that, in addition to the direct neutralization of highly reactive oxidants, H2 indirectly reduces oxidative stress by regulating the expression of various genes. Moreover, by regulating gene expression, H2 functions as an anti-inflammatory, antiallergic, and antiapoptotic molecule, and stimulates energy metabolism. In addition to growing evidence obtained by model animal experiments, extensive clinical examinations have been performed or are underway. While most drugs act on their specific targets, H2 seems to differ from conventional pharmaceutical drugs. Owing to its great efficacy and lack of adverse effects, H2 has potential for clinical applications for many diseases.”
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25747486
"Most of the drugs used in modern medical treatments are symptomatic treatments and are far from being a cure for the diseases. The adverse effects are unavoidable in the drugs in modern medical treatments. Molecular hydrogen (H2) has a remarkable therapeutic effect on various diseases, and many clinical studies have reported that H2 has no adverse effects. Therefore, H2 is a novel medical gas that is outside the concept of modern medical treatment. H2, unlike drugs, works on the root of many diseases by scavenging the two kinds of strong reactive oxygen species, hydroxyl radical (·OH) and peroxynitrite (ONOO-). Since the H2 alleviates the root of diseases and can treat many diseases at the same time, the medical application of H2 may be called “machine gun therapy.”
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9555028/
"H2 may be superior to conventional antioxidants, since it can selectively reduce ●OH radicals while preserving important ROS that are otherwise used for normal cellular signaling. Additionally, H2 exerts many biological effects, including antioxidation, anti-inflammation, anti-apoptosis, and anti-shock. H2 accomplishes these effects by indirectly regulating signal transduction and gene expression, each of which involves multiple signaling pathways and crosstalk. The Keap1-Nrf2-ARE signaling pathway, which can be activated by H2, plays a critical role in regulating cellular redox balance, metabolism, and inducing adaptive responses against cellular stress. H2 also influences the crosstalk among the regulatory mechanisms of autophagy and apoptosis, which involve MAPKs, p53, Nrf2, NF-κB, p38 MAPK, mTOR, etc. The pleiotropic effects of molecular hydrogen on various proteins, molecules and signaling pathways can at least partly explain its almost universal pluripotent therapeutic potential."
