Great review! Here's what I don't understand, many tech reviewers and just regular tech enthusiasts like me knew the specs of the 6a months ago. So, who didn't already know that 60 Hz refresh was gonna be on the 6a? The only people complaining about 60 Hz are the tech snobs who are using high end phones that cost way more money and don't perform half as well. And I suppose if you have 120 Hz or higher then, yeah, the 60 Hz might look slow or choppy. Even some reviews have pointed out that after 3-4 days, the 6a refresh rate gets better because Tensor learns your patterns. I heavily considered getting the 6a myself but I have the 5a and it's pretty close to the new phone and gets better battery life. If that were not a consistent statement in some reviews, I'd have considered getting the 6a.

I have used flagship phones in the past and never used most of the features. I bought this phone yesterday, and so far I am enjoying it. I bought one for my dad and ordered one for my mother recently.

Me too haven't faced any over heating issues in my device as of now . Actually I was an iPhone 12 user. I really wanted pixel 6 pro but unfortunately 6 and 6 pro was not available in India hence I moved to iPhone 12. As soon Pixel 6a was launched and started pre booking , I sold my iPhone 12 which was a flag ship Phone and bought Pixel 6a which is a budget phone just because of my love for pixel devices.I'm really having a good time with my pixel 6a🤩. Thanks to Google!!!

@@coolkenny13 Charcoal Colour.No bro the device becomes heat when we set up the device for the first time. And after that ,there were no over heating issues.The device gets warm on heavy use just like other devices.

I really want to swap my 6 for 6a for exactly the same two reasons, but wondering to hold off for the 7a if there is one. Do you notice any differences?
@@ttube111 The Haptics are actually better on the 6a vs the 6. Otherwise, the 6a just feels like a smaller 6(for the most part).

Will get one in some months. Right now using a Poco X3 Pro and is a beast of a phone. Super cheap and powerful.
My god. I can't remember how many reviews I watched before placing the order of my first pixel. I wanted to prebook the phone, even though the price was brutally higher in India. Not to mention there are no free buds. 😤. Yet I wanted to try one, because of the camera and stock exp. I definitely needed a phone since the one I had was close to 4 years old. But the concerns regarding overheating, reception, fingerprint scanner, 60hz from different reviewers disheartened me. I'm glad i still went ahead and purchased. Got it for 28k inr, roughly 350 dollars after exchanging my 4 year old note 9. I'm not going to tell that 60hz is enough in 2022, but really you won't even notice it unless you are coming from 120hz. If you ask me cons, I would say slow charging which is the only real day to day con. It takes around 1hr and 45 mins for full charge. But I can live with it, for the exceptional camera, in hand feel and stock exp.

No issues so far. It just heats up like any other device. Nothing to worry about. I got the chalk colour
Dang you got rid of the 9? I still throw my sim in mine now and then. Great screen ratio for content consumption. Gonna use it until it dies 👍🏽
I was waiting for pixel 6a for a while and I'm so sad, because I feel the screen has very clear colors compared to my previous mobile, when you tilt it you see a rainbow effect on the screen, the whites are not whites, looks like a little bit greys. So I have spoken to Google for a change, because it does not seem normal to me. My previous mobile, a pixel 3a looks perfect, vibrant colors and no weird stuff when you move it. Maybe they are defective screens?Does it happen to anyone else?. 😘

I love my new 6a pixel, great phone. Flip 3 screen gave me grief, had enough.
I Love it except for not being able to use the MMS
I got it today and the overheating issue is something you should have addressed in this video. It gets overheated while charging with an official Pixel charging adaptor, using camera or just by using even Reels for 15 minutes or same goes for RUclips playback. Returning this device.
Oh no! I’ve not had this issue! I suspect it’s because of such a powerful chip in a tiny device. This could cause overheating issues.
Any alternative phone that you are looking to buy? Don't know if I should buy 6A rn or wait for the 7 series. I'm so confused right now.
@@TasiaCustode Unfortunately, I don't think it was that. It's probably because you live in a cold country but here the temperature is somewhere around 30C. I will wait for a month or two to check if Google roll out any patch for power management in the future updates which is when I will definitely consider buying this device.

Very nice Pixel 6a and size but is not an upgrade is you coming from 5a. Is it more an update Pixel. I am still prefer my Pixel 5a 5g, not issues from day one plus bigger battery and head phone jack on it. I will wait to see what is on Pixel 7a.

So last year Google decided not to sell the Pixel 5A here in the UK, I will say that this year they have done it with the 6A, that is a point in their favour.
I have no idea why people have decided to copy Apple and stop including the charger. I bought the Pixel 6 Pro and had to buy the charger separately. This was because I had given my old phone plus it's charger to a relative. So my phone arived on one date and my charger on another. This means more packaging, more fuel to deliver the separate charger and more boxes to be thrown away. So it's nothing to do with the environment it's because these bigger companies like Apple, Samsung and google have become even more greedy. Sorry about the rant. Really nice video.
