I use a mixture, started on very budget stuff. Ferrex from Aldi, then Milwaukee M12 and M18 also have a couple bits of older Dewalt. Go to is the Milwaukee though
@@MachineryNation I have the following Kielder kit, I might have a problem..LOL. Impact wrenches - 1 X high torque 1790 Nm BA torque, 1 X Medium 850Nm, 1 X Medium 700Nm, 3 x 400 Nm of varying ages( one of which is the original old boy 400Nm) . Then I also have the same driver as you have in this video, plus a very old drill, and the grease gun which I highly recommend. Enjoying the videos you are making. Cheers
Nice to see metabo featuring I have both this SSD200 and their 400Nm wrench, both come with the variable speed wheel so you can change the torque, great when working with small screws to large bolts etc. 💪
Hi James + Josh + Rich, You getting me hooked on Milwalkee I do like the M18 , M12 on lighter jobs, Great Top Gear test drive, you gave us the RPM, but whats the MPG !!.....lol Say that I quite like Rich's Meta-booo. As always a great video, catch you soon Take care
I think if y’all would have used the regular M12 impact with the 5ah HO battery, it would have been in 2nd place! Great competition none the less gentlemen. Now I will never say Metabo the same again…lol!
No ferrex pro the brushless range is amazing and the ferrex 20v/40v batteries are as good as the milwaukee batteries but they cost 25 quid the ferrex pro impact i have had undo 200nm and it cost me 9.99 for the tool its looks just like the light green one
Mate I have all ferrex tools from aldi I have the impact driver grinder and hammer drill all the ferrex Pro brushless range the 20v/40v batteries are just as good as makita and milwaukee batteries and they are 25 quid a battery with Samsung cells I paid 9.99 for the impact 9.99 for the hammer drill and 15 quid for the grinder the impact driver will undo 200nm
I have a parkside impact just to make life a bit easier undoing wheel nuts, quad, pickup, car tractor, none of which are any tighter than 120nm, always torqued up when refitted and it’s completely shite. Goes flat within three to four bolts. It’s brand new, came with battery, charger etc for €59. I didn’t want to invest in a Dewalt as the one I want is about €350 here but buy cheap, buy twice.
Quick question. What's Europe's best selling DIY brand in 2024? Quick answer - Parkside. I know you Brits have been struggling with your own identity lately, but I still think of you as Europeans... So, where is Parkside performance unit?
@@MachineryNation I have got quite a few 12v parkside tools the drill driver is handy and surprisingly useful in the workshop would be good to see a comparison with the big name brands

@@MachineryNation you b…dy did, costing me a fortune feeding my addiction 😂😂
The ferrex Pro I got for 9.99 would give all these run for their money its undoes 200nm bolts
Great test guys! We pick the Sealey :)
Thank you 🙌🏻
Nice One Guys Thanks again
Thank Darran 👍🏼
I have the Kielder and am very happy with it. Cheers
It is great gear, we have tried several of their tools and all been good so far 👍🏼

Would the M12 Surge take of the wheel nuts with an High Output battery?
Doubt it

Quite possibly, but used what we had. Hopefully they send us another one haha.
@@MachineryNation hear that Milwaukee, one of your biggest fans needs a Gen 3 M12 impact with 5ah HO battery to add to this test! Lol

The test would be more efficient if the battery size was the same though
Where's the two proven best the Flex quick eject and the Dewalt DCF 860 both of which would beat all these you are showing here
Yellow is quickest (Dewalt that is)
M18 everything every day
All day every day! With some m12 action mixed in!
Bosch,Hilti, Makita?
We contact most manufacturers and not all respond, but these were the first 6 who did 👍🏼
Dewalt
We invite them all, unfortunately Dewalt aren’t interested in what we do at the moment, we will see in the future 👍🏼
@@MachineryNation they are probably worried about how Rich would pronounce Dewalt truth be told 🤔
Use ear protection guys
Makita
Not in this one, sorry.
Where is Dewalt? Next time could you test own brands like Aldi, Lidl, B&Q etc.

It’s only the biggest selling brand because it’s found in Lidls middle aisle. They will be one or two shot wonders and then buy again.
Is it? Is that fact? Would love ti include them, if we ever do a domestic test again 👍🏼
