- These are some more new hand tool options from Milwaukee.We cover the Milwaukee beater driver, the Milwaukee 6-1 multi nut driver, and a few other tools. I picked these all up at my local @HomeDepot.
UPDATE: The 14-1 ratcheting multi driver wouldn't close because the part that holds it in broke. It was stuck inside behind the part that holds the bits. Once I got it out it did still close and hold shut. This happened while I was recording.

Love the channel and the videos. The Milwaukee demo driver/chisel has what people think is anti roll, it is anti roll in the sense it won’t roll but the most important and missed function of it is that if it’s on the ground on a jobsite (much more likely than you worrying about it falling off a desk or workbench) if someone steps on it, the “anti-roll” stops someone from slipping on it like a round tube.
I've been using that demo driver for over a year, maybe even two and it's great. I love it for getting that last little bit of tightning on lock rings when it's tought to get your pliers in.

That Milwaukee 14 in 1 used to be my daily driver but like you said it felt very clunky and not as well balanced. I switched to the Klein 15 in 1 with impact rated bits and never looked back
i love that multi driver but i’ve had the bits break on me repeatedly along with the handles coming loose.. got tired of going to lowe’s and exchanging switched to the wera drivers

Wera makes the perfect beater that fits 90% of flathead screws and has a pass thru shank been beating in mine for 3 years and still use it as a screwdriver
We had a graveyard of thoes 6 in 1 strippers 8 pairs where the pivot point failed and got misaligned. I got forged wire strippers for my people and they go years on them instead of amonth tops? The demo driver use to have a black handle that's version 2. The first version was more rubberized and more comfortable. Good luck 👍

It's the same part number but instead of 59 the old one is 60 if your looking for it. Last two of the model number. Also the old one was more of a polished shiny screwdriver vs this new ones that look like cheap chrome to me. Hope it helps 🙏

So I like the Klein impact nut driver better. The Milwaukee has some pros for sure , but the Klein 1/4 socket is fit to hold screw driver bits while the Milwaukee is not. Put it on the Klein 14-1 hvac kit and you have the ultimate screwdriver
I was at Home Depot today testing the strength on the Milwaukee levels that said were "super strong rare earth magnets". They were way weaker than the Empire ones and probably even weaker than Harbor Freight's Doyle.
One thing to note with the demolition screwdriver is it's not a solid piece of metal. One of my coworkers bought one and after 3 months when he hit it the thing shattered.
If you do a continuity test on it it's just a cap on there

The plastic look and finish of all those Milwaukee knockoffs of Klien's make them look like Dollar Store speed table tools. Who signed off on those?
The chisel driver looks nice. I just got a couple of Estwing (I've been using Estwing and Milwaukee since the '70s). I'll probably get that Milw ats the Estwing is too long to carry on my belt/pouch setup.
I'm going to take a closer look at the multi-nut driver. I picked up Klien's version (which also has flat and Phillips #1), but that thing is just a pure PITA to use. (Big miss for Klien on that one, and most of my oldest elec. stuff is Klien, so pretty disappointed with them on that). I don't do much 'commercial' work, so working all day with Unistrut etc., I don't need those to be at hand all the time.
I couldn't tell from the video whether or not the working socket has to be on the end of the 6" (?) shaft. Is the working end (with the stop and ball detent) a standard SAE 1/4" drive end? It looks like it's hex?
I have the Knipex stripper/plier, which I absolutely love. It does have the wider end like the older one you showed.
The reamer looks sweet. My old Klien's are still kickin'. I've never used a reamer on a power tool; it'll be interesting to see if it's worth changing bits on the impact is worth it for EMT. I'll get one and try it out, anyway.
For a ratcheting driver, the Wera is designed such that the direction 'switch' goes in the direction you are driving and allows for 'free spinning' with the thumb/forefinger, which it f'n genius, especially when dealing with #6/#8 32 fasteners where any back drag on the ratchet is too much.
I do have a stubby version of the Milwaukee that has all the bits in the handle and a Klein with a similar feature. It's handy in some situations, but I hardly ever work on something away from the bench that requires a small Torx, Robertson, Philips, and flathead at the same time.
I'm with ya on the multi-driver thing. I carry my most common old Klien's (flat, phil), the Wera changeable, and a couple of different rail and/or keyring style bit holders.
I've seen some of the Milwaukee hand tools as they've been pushing into that market which are/were just whitelabel stuff badged with Milwaukee handles, etc. Sadly, that is a negative for the brand, but it looks like they are changing that.
Semi-OT: I picked up a couple of Milwaukee nail pullers, and they are excellent as the head is cammed to really increase the force applied to the nail head. Also, I picked up a small(ish) hammer to carry on my belt as my 40 year old leather wrapped Estwing needs to spend more time in my shop before the leather gets completely destroyed. (sentimenal value). I really like the new Milwaukee hammer.

True, and I am a Klein fan over Milwaukee Hand tools for sure, but isn’t every competitor tool a rip off of another in some way shape or form? Nobody re-inventing the wheel, just trying to get their hands in keeping it round and rolling.
I wouldn’t call any of these rip offs. These are tools that everyone makes but these are distinctive from other brands and if you’re talking about the bit storage, a lot of German companies have been making them for years
Why are wera and wiha the only locking bit drivers. I get sick of getting a screw tight, pulling my driver out and leaving the bit stuck in the screw, particularly in small spaces
It does get in the way sometimes which is annoying but I totally agree. It drives me insane to have bits get stuck
I need those thick red handles on the NM strippers. The current grips split or get cut so easily or just slide off after a week
That would be pretty sweet. I’m not a big fan of dipped handles so I like these much better

Umm....that little design part on the shaft that you think or believe is stupid is called a knurling. Yes it is for aesthetic, but the main purpose of it is to provide extra grip.
The knurling process adds an additional step and more money, so manufacture cheap out and skips that step
