Does it really make that much difference when you go above 1080p for RUclips? Once they have finished compressing the videos it's hard for me to tell the difference on my 4k 14inch laptop. I do see the improvement of 4k on my big OLED TV but then most people are watching on a phone, tablet or laptop. I think anything more than 1080p is a bit overkill for those devices. Video does look good but then it also looked good when you were filming your new camera on your old camera, so...
Tass While it may seem that a 6K capable camera is overkill for RUclips, what’s actually more important is the quality of the video. What I mean by that is dynamic range, highlight roll off, deep blacks, things like that. Most people don’t care about this stuff, but I’m a geek and I notice the difference. But also, to be quiet honest, while the quality difference isn’t mind blowing on RUclips, its definitely more pleasing to the human eye. Its a cinema camera, so there’s that too lol. @@MrJacobCastro Fair points you make there. Personally, I find HDR more important than the resolution jump of 1080p to 2k or 4k. HDR is definitely more impactful. I'm sure you will have great fun with the camera. It's an awesome bit of kit.
Congrats on the sale and gear upgrade. As someone who shoots Sony, there's lots of qualms in Panasonic, but the S1H is a nice overall camera for stable shots. Enjoy the upgrade.

I agree! When I was editing this video, I was completely blown away. The level of detail is amazing! I shot this video at 5.9K by the way, so even more resolution then 4K. lol. Thanks for watching!
