Note for future reference, the strength of cement blocks is in line with the holes, so there's solid material in the walls extending from the load to the foundation, putting them on their side means there's just air between, vertically oriented they have compressive strength, on their sides, they can break apart.

Stacked them like this for my auto top off system for 6 years. Never had a problem. Doesn’t matter now anyways. The nursery is gone. LOL! 🤣

for me this is a giand pond farm, i grow only indoor emersed aquatic plants. This thing , i´m very glade to have this jacob.
