You're a fantastic instructor! I'm a 41 year old Marine Corps combat veteran....and for my birthday this year...I wanted to learn to play the piano...
Have ZERO musical talent, I can't read music...and I'm left handed...lol
I've been watching your very basic videos now and just slowly moving into the others...but even being able to play a nice "C" chord (and even knowing what the heck that is) is something I've come to really enjoy...I love the sound of the piano.....and finally seeing more than just 88 black and white keys has been quite a fun adventure!!!
Thank you for the time you take to produce these tutorials!!
Semper Fi!
Love how genuine your comment is bruh !!!
Talent is overrated. To succeed at stuff, you have to be willing to fail at it long enough. Very few people have talent, they just have determination and I'm sure you have bags of that.
👍 You got this sir👌🙏
I monotonously learnt the piano for the better half of a year.
In 12 minutes and 13 seconds, this man revived my hopes & dreams. ✨✨
WHAT A WONDERFUL CHANNEL ❤️
I can't believe how much you've taught me in 3 lessons. I've improved so much in just a week. This was an incredible lesson. You are a wonderful teacher. I just got my piano after years of wanting one. You are fulfilling the dream of a 69 year old. Thank you
Ditto but 65Ys :)
Dido but 32
Absolutely the best piano videos on RUclips.
Once more we listen, once more we are impressed.Respect is due!! Apologies for the Royal we.
I've played guitar and bass for 40 years. I've always wanted to learn keyboards. The usual instruction books are enough to make anyone say "when will this sound like something". You cut to the case give lessons that I can immediately use and apply. Thanks.
This is so beautiful, friend!
Beautifully explained
For a beginner it is so satisfying when you master to hit this (easy) chords first time and listen to the nice sound. thx!
omg yesss. i can relate so much!! also did you improve in 4 months?
Good video as always👍🏾... love the decor😉
That really sounds epic! I love your tutorials very much, because they are really creative and every example sounds so amazing and beautiful!! 😍Greetings from Germany & have a nice weekend!
Happy to hear that!
what a brilliant lesson, can't wait to try it out.
Wow, that is so enjoyable, we are indeed blessed to have your instruction, the best on here by far. So much fun.
I was faffing about today in C# as I want to play a song I heard on the radio. Not being used to C# - argh - I faffed about to get comfortable with the chord changes. My husband walked in and said, “Wow, was that you?” Yippee. He never says that when I’m sight reading Czerny exercises - hahaha. Thanks, Josef, for inspiring my faffing.
Brilliant. The beauty of simplicity. Thank you.
Excellent teacher! Love the simplicity.
Thank you so much ❤️
Thank you
Can't wait to try this!
Are you thinking of moving nearer to Shevington? Next door to us ideally!! Love your music!
Great videos appreciated big thanks
Thank you so much
Very moving lesson. So much feeling can be unleashed
You're an amazing teacher. This lesson has finally brought clarity to what to do with chords.Your style of teaching inspires me to continue learning piano. Thanks showing me how to make music.
It’s just beautiful and the first piano lesson that has really got me (adult learner) hooked and learning, thank you mate !
Another variation: Left hand on the lower keys and shift the right hand pattern 1 or 2 octaves higher - or do 1 run with the lower octave and then progress the right hand up 1 octave for a run and then up an octave for another. Beautiful! Great vid/lesson Joseph! :)
Josef, I love the way you take me round the keyboard in your tutorials, only had my keyboard 6 weeks
Love this!!!!!!!
Josef, this really sounds EPIC! Thanks for another HQ lesson on having fun at the Piano.
Hi Josef! Hope you and your family are keeping well. I love your chord and improv ideas at the piano. I’m going to start trying out a bit more in this area. It will be so satisfying to just sit and play
Love going off position, can play for hours but only due to your lessons, terrific! Thanks.
I love it. Thank you
Another fantastic video. Thanks!
Smooth Awesom Lesson! Lots of Energy to motivate the novice and get them up and going!

This is great thanks a lot!
Great to understand the point you are trying to make...to hear the musicality and the distinct tunes of every combination that is pleasant to hear. Thank you so much....
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great tutorial Josef! I have spent a good time with your exercises this evening (sounding eeepic!). Kind regards.
Love this channel
I thoroughly enjoyed it and thank you
Great share, thanks.
Fantastic exercise, Josef! Creative relief from the excellent, but tedious, Alfred method.
I really loved it! You're fantastic and educational! 😍
This is fantastic! I then took this and implemented the classic "4 chords" I-V-vi-IV and it worked there too! :)
great coach got all i need..thank God you are fantastic👍

Awesome Brother🧡👍
Josef your bloody marvelous many thanks for that so creative but simple and sounds great Stay safe my friend
Love your videos mate.
You make everything seem accessible and easier the way you break it down.
Thank you, keep up the great work 👍🤘
This is beautiful, there are endless possibilities here, I can have loads of chord inversions, and then maybe sometime ad in a minor chord, that would sound epic...looking forward to working on this...lovely, thank you.
Wow. Just wow. I can't wait to get to the piano to practice this.
BTW I've made my video on exercises and self-treatments for the pianist to do to help with back pain and wrist pains and finger strength. My daughter filmed it and she really did a good job. Just a couple administrative details but it will be up soon.
Thnks for the lession
You're welcome Raj
I liked it, its good to listen and looks simple to play
Excellent Sound..Your all lessons are very useful..

Talented
Practiced the major scales & just finished A maj and with these videos. I was playing chords and didn't even know it🤗🤩 Thanks for the encouragement to be creative.🍫🍬🧁 I play a 20 Key Double Layer Kalimba and have retuned natural keys to sharps . It is a lot of fun🤩🤩
Great
Great lesson, spicing it up makes it real. It was funny, as you were ad-lib-ing I thought, this is ready for vocals, and you went "naaa naaa...." hahaha awesome!
Great tutorial CPA!!!!!!..... good stuff !!!!!... have a solid weekend and all the best to you ... jeff... ps... I have a new pipe organ piece up that has some different chord progressions....
Thanks Josef, I add this to my daily HIIT routine.
oh yeah!!!!
Indeed!
thank you so much for this video. you great in what you doing. keep it up man
You are damn good at getting the lesson across, I play clarinet so I know about chords. But you make look so easy, just watched and not yet practiced but as a complete piano beginner I feel confident at getting a result. My aim and goal is to write a song and accompany myself
So simple and yet so brilliant. For a few mins there, I forget I’m a beginner 😃.
nice
Amazing tutorial Joseph!! Is it possible you could make a video on some latin piano rhythms?
Hey Josef !! So grateful for your videos!! I'd love to know what overhead camera and lens you use? Please let me know :) Thank you so much !!
Do you have any videos on playing polyrhythms?
dude this is epic, thanks. You earned a sub from me for sure
Love all your work, it would be cool to have a video on a soft romantic chord progression but using also black notes ...thanks.
Yeah. Let's seduce the ladies. Player and playa' 😎
I am a beginner, relying on online training, and your videos have always been helpful in increasing my skill!! But there is one thing i wish to learn amongst all this, is to "How to Play by Ear". Would be great if you made a video on that as well!!
Some people can and others cannot. My mother could pick up a sheet and read and play straight off, even at 89 years old. She couldn't improvise or play by ear. It baffles me though how anyone can play complex stuff by ear...chords etc with left hand...no doubt some can...
Hmmm.... what an interesting name, it sounds quite familiar, reminds me of a birds' genus... Nice video.
Absolutely love your videos. Please keep doing the Halloween ones =)
What program are you using to computerize things? Excellent video, loved it.
💕
Amazing video!! Thank you!
First comment btw hehe
Awesome Luis. The first 10 seconds were awesome right? Haha
@@Creativepianoacademy You caught me xD Buuuuut.. What it actually means is that I don't even have to watch the entire video to know that it will be great =p
AWEEEEEEESOME!
Though you make it sound easy trying it .guess gotta practice a bit more ...and to play around
That is a really nice desk.. where did you get that from?
🤘🏻
Pls what piano are you using? Mine doesn't sound the same. Great video btw
I haven't watched all of your videos yet but I have enjoyed the few that I have watched.
I am a total newbie to Piano/Keyboard and all those terminologies related to music. I am looking forward to get Keyboard soon but I am pretty much confused which one to buy. Considering my budget and some research I did of my own I have two keyboard candidates Casio WK6600 (76 keys) and Yamaha PSR-E463(61 Keys) can you please suggest what keyboard I should go for?
4-1-5 :: F - C (1st inversion) - G 2nd inversion
Hi, what keyboard is that? I'm just starting and want to get a good one
Lovely. Just a beginner but couldn't make it sound great until I noticed that you were playing the G chord twice per 'round' (I don't think you mentioned that). It made all the difference. Is there something interesting theoretically here? That is playing three beats to the bar but in blocks of four? (my music theory is very rudimentary) Thank you - Jeff
Is there a level 2 - Syncopations
Or a Level 3 - Polymeter and Polyrythmsß
Help up on rhythm
Take it slow, use a metronome! You'll get there!
Please make music arpeggio again for romantic wedding or other music
Its 00:00 and has i watch this video i want to play the piano...but i have neighbours T.T
Help that many of your clips I’m subscribed where do I start started on one clip then couldn’t find it started on another etc etc I’m a complete novice wanting to learn like your style like it simple but where to start help
