Hi gang. Just wanted to say we have read EVERY comment and thanks so much for your kind words of encouragement. We can’t reply to all of them as RUclips thinks we are spamming but we’ve seen them all and will keep reading!
Awesome to see lads. Been watching you since season 2 I believe, and I always look forward to your episodes, don't think I've missed a single one. Looking forward to what's to come. How could would it have been though, if when they transitioned to the new garage and the lights came on, Rake would just be standing in the middle, and says, "not bad." and just leaves.
What I loved about MCM, Moog and Martin has naturally grown this channel over the years. Never pushing for numbers or ram adverts down our throats. The projects they take on are entertaining and you can tell a lot of thought went into them. So it’s wonderful to see this channel is expanding further and potentially allowing broader projects to be taken on. Can’t wait.
Same here, I've been a subscriber since around 13K subs, remember the days back when they would upload a video & you could watch it a couple days later & it'd be at like 15K views nowadays it's more like 200K in a day or so. I'm very happy for the guys. This is just a great addition to help further the show even more.
The boys were always open that their viewers don't have a lift at home (&) given that they were trying to show the viewers what was capable of being done they elected to do everything on the floor which i thought was pretty cool. As you said respect for continuing with that mindset.
I remember the first video was after Moog had an accident with a drill bit through his wrist if im correct. It was about installing an oil catch can if my memory serves me well. Seems like last week
Definitely had a tear in my eye. Been watching you guys for 13 years from the Hong Kong special, to the blue turd, to the budget street cred and everything in between. It's hard to believe. I am so happy to see you guys continue to grow. One day I hope to meet you guys. If you come to Dallas, Texas let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hell yes same here since the driveway days and I’m in Fort Worth now but if these guys come to tx I’m down. Wish there were communal show things around here would be amazing
This space is part of why it's worked so well - it's not some insane, unachievable workshop with multiple hoists and every modern convenience. It's an achievable space for the everyman - a big shed with a bunch of tools and some good mates to lend a hand. Onward and upward gents, all the best for you guys in the future! See you on the road.
I recently commented on a post on a subreddit about this; the fact MCM has always been without a hoist, in a small environment which was relatable to the average bloke. It's good to hear they're keeping the original space as well; as I feel once it starts to become a production environment, it loses that feeling.
@@NBSV1 I think your talking about Marty's shed, they still have it, its Marty's personal workshop, but it was never meant to be a new MCM space, was just used due to needs.

One time me and my buddy was changing the transmission on his 1981 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. We were doing it in his driveway which was gravel. We lifted the entire car like 2 1/2 feet in the air and tossed an old queen size mattress that we found under the car, and did a transmission replacement in comfort. It was amazing.
You guys started in parents driveway, sniffing under seats and gluing stuff to a car. It is impressive to see how far you have come. Congratulations. I am always ready to jump in and come along for an adventure and see where you guys take us. Cheers!
Hey Marty and Moog, I've been watching since "How to restore blackness to your car" which was like 13 years ago(?). You guys have taught me so much and always given me the confidence to do anything myself from car servicing, car mods and repairs around the house. I started watching when I was a young man and now I'm coming up to my 30s and own my family home and have 2 little boys. I still love modding cars (although I just about get enough time to service my car these days and that's all.) One thing ive always loved from you guys is how you guys have made so much out of so little. From working on a driveway to a tiny garage, you've been able to make and do amazing stuff. While ive loved seeing it from a "ground level" mechanic space, showing that damn near anyone can do amazing work with just knowledge and mates.. its going to be so great to see you take it a step further with more area and a HOIST! (oh god yes a hoist). the only ask i have is do not cut video's too much, i honestly love seeing step by step in the job and its been a wealth of knowledge for myself and others to learn from! Cheers from adelaide!
Congratulations guys :) Missus and I got our shed a couple of months ago and its just invaluable. Its slightly smaller than your place, but you're going to love it.
Congrats guys, as a DIY tragic who only got a hoist a few years ago (as I knock on 40yrs old) it is an absolute GAME changer. Enjoy, you guys deserve it.

All I can think to say is, MAD! I’ve watched you guys from here in the U.K. since the start. If I ever make it to Australia I’d love to come and meet you guys. Here is to the next 7 years in the new space.
I'm so happy for this! I kinda guessed it was an upgraded space but I was hoping you were getting a lift too then you layed on the concrete. I was like yes! This is awesome! You can progress your builds further and have better work environment productivity too! Been here since the black "faux" civic type R hatch in the driveway. So glad to see you grow so much!
Congratulations on the expansion space. I do love the racing stripe around the side. All it needs is a big 53 and it’s Herbie race colours. Keep up the good works.
I know this is the best 4x4 channel on the internet but I also want to say that the music is always spot on. I’m a huge metal head but you all make me want create some sick beats.
Congratulations on the move guys. The space is pretty big, and I'd say it's on par with what TDIB has for a new work space. As for the engine, pretty sure it's a c20e for the gemini.
ALL OF THAT SPACE!!! Congrats mates! I always love to see how you both have grown this channel more and more over the years. Taking it back to around 2010 when I was curious on how to install a stereo in my car, I stumbled across you two. Guys thank you for all you provide for us, you have always given me the automotive confidence to tackle projects I never thought I would be able to do. Keep up the good work and cheers mates!

Wow, what a huge move. That opens up so much space for festivities. Good on ya! Looking forward to seeing how the place turns out, even if the old space is still going to be the main playground.
I spy the engine for the Gemini! My heart really, truly wanted the PuRiTy of an Isuzu powerplant to remain in the bay, but I do think what's planned on the horizon will tick the most boxes all round and help it become the Gemini Marty has dreamed of having. Congrats on the new digs as well. I'm glad to hear the "old" space isn't going anywhere too.

You guys are Aussie icons and we're so stoked for you!
All the best legends! We'll be supporting! :D
Congratulations guys :) Missus and I got our shed a couple of months ago and its just invaluable. Its slightly smaller than your place, but you're going to love it.
Small, humble beginnings and to see the growth slowly over time has been really nice. Honestly well done and congrats, lots of hard work involved!
The colour combination is 1980's Group-A Nissan all the way. The Bluebird Turbos, the Skylines. All of them were this exact colour combo.
Congrats guys, as a DIY tragic who only got a hoist a few years ago (as I knock on 40yrs old) it is an absolute GAME changer.
Enjoy, you guys deserve it.
Much love to you guys. I've been watching for every bit of 14 years it feels like.. you have shaped my childhood. That being said, you guys truly deserve this. Congratulations.
I've been watching since the drive way days and it's so cool to see you guys evolve over time 🍾
All I can think to say is, MAD!
Yes, it sure looks like the c20xe or "redtop"
@@classic1981 One of the legendary engines from Gm on, on the basis of which the C20let was made.
Marty- ‘Aw, my back!’
Feel that bro. That’s a tale of the years you’ve been doing this right there!
😯Very Excited for the EV conversion. Congrats guys!
As somebody working on getting their own space to work on cars, this is hugely inspiring!
Well done guys!
One thing I really miss from my house out west is having a garage. I have a floor jack that does nothing for me with a gravel drive I park on.
CONGRADULATIONS!!!! Glad you are able to grow into a new space!!! Can't wait to see it in action!!
Personally I'd like to have seen a second lift in that space. Seems to have the room for it. Can't wait for what comes next guys. Love from America.
I wonder what a whole lift installation costs
Yeah my dreams of a B16 swapped bus went out the window with that puny hoist.
@@Daniel-dj7fh it's a few grand that's for sure
@@Daniel-dj7fh The lift is $5-6K by itself, installation costs will vary depending on the space.
Pfft, tell me about it. Why don't they also have a spray booth and a full basin for galvanising chassis... Complete amateurs!

Holy shit, it’s wild how many builds really defined mcm. I’ll always love 2wisted, I’m so glad that you guys reintroduced me to sex spec, and it was great seeing you guys in the Facebook groups like memory lane.
Dude, 14 years already? I just realized that I'm really old! been here since Marty's mom's driveway and awesome Daihatsu shitboxes. Love to see you guys grow even more. All the best. Cheers.
Damn I didn't see that coming. But it's great that the boys finally have a bigger place to do bigger stuff in it.
Soooooooooooooooo happy for you two! I hope this means, more content? That would be awesome to see 1-2 videos a week. 1 would be enough though. Love it!
recognizes the feeling with the first large room, checked for a long time and fun to see that you have come this far.
Congrats gents. Big fan of the stripes!
Small suggestion: some acoustic panels to knock out that echo little.
I'm sure they're working on it asap. :)
I think at least one of them is something along the lines of an Audio Engineer, I’d guess It’ll get sorted
@@OsaderLP yeah iirc both of them are in audio production to some capacity (or used to be)
@@transatlant1c moog is a audio engineer and artist and marty idk
They actually met at work where they were both audio engineers. Moog is also a musician and has a bunch of music out, including all music featured on MCM.
I love how you two have stuck together till now and progressed together. Homies for life
I’m a gunsmith and not actually a car nut! I still enjoy watching channels like this👍 To set up a new shop is a lot of work (and money) but its a great adventure that I really enjoy. Good luck mates!
This means that there's hopefully going to be many more MCM videos for years to come!
Congrats guys, this is amazing! Still love that you kept the old shed. So can't wait for more episodes! 😎
I started watching you guys when i was younger, I had only just started getting into cars and overtime my love has grown for cars, thank you for getting me into cars and helping me learn when i was younger!
Love the old space but seeing you being able to branch out into a bigger space as well is just so cool! Big love gents! Here's to the future of super-garage!
I'm biased to the blAAAAaaack, though.
I even though I have only been watching the two of you for 3 to 4 years. The two of you have become one of my favorite RUclipsrs and I'm always looking forward to the next video. I love the energy about the two of you and the shenanigans the two of you get up to. I knew that at some point you guys would want to move to a new place and I can't wait to see the next chapter. 👍👍
Congrats, it’s been 14 years of hard and awesome work! I can`t imagine what you’ll be able to accomplish here, but I’m sure it’s gonna be awesome! Cheers from Mexico!!!
The first bit made me go “hmmmm, this is interesting, what are they up to?” Then as soon as I heard the reverb on moog’s voice in the dark I just went “oooooooooh!” Congrats dudes, it’s gonna be very interesting to see what you guys get up to with that size space, but will moog’s magic hand work as well in such a space?
In respect to the boat chat....pardon the pun, but i'm "on board".. if you need a sidekick at a boat show, I know a bloke ⛵
clout chaser
Ah yes, Ian!
Love seeing the growth of not just the MCM channel / brand but you guys as mechanics! Been watching since the Driveway days and been spannering on bikes and cars around about the same time. It would be super cool to see the first big project to come out of super garage taken to the driveway it all began if you could!
This is fucking crazy been watching you lads for such a long time and to see you grow is awesome!
Love the channel. Keep it going. Glad to see you guys are still the same cool dudes from 10yrs ago
So cool to see you guys finally taking that extra big step for MCM, congratulations on the new area an I can’t wait to see what you guys cook up in the new shop. 🙌🏼
I came here for the "how to zombie proof your car" 11 years ago and stayed for the nuggets, you guys crack me up every time, my first thought when I saw the white walls with the red and blue stripes was "Oh look the old school Datsun race team!" Love your work keep it up!
C20XE M2.8
I’ve always wondered why they subjected themselves to a concrete floor for so long. Plus the space in the old place was always kinda like why not get something bigger. But they explained a lot and can’t wait for the next seven years of content to come outta some of this place
We NEED a video in this workshop hanging with Benny, Al and Woody!
Congratz on the new shop guys!
This new space looks absolutely mint! That engine and gearbox next to the Tesla stuff is making my bits very twitchy 😉 excited to see that project soon guys! So crazy what yous have achieved from starting in the driveway, some would say you two guys are living almost every man's dream, keep it going!
4G63 maybe?

5:20 is exactly what I love about Moog he seems like he's a pretty deep person and dgaf about the right things
So exciting! Huge congratulations and thank you so much for all the amazing videos!
love that you guys are rocking the dutch flag in your new workshop, much appreciated! no lolligagging, exciting stuff guys!
I feel so proud of you two and how far you've come since slapping I-Pads into dashboards in your driveway, wicked job.
Thank you so much for painting the Dutch flag on your walls !!! been watching from the start ! much love from the Netherlands xxx
Been watching since you guys were in the driveway at Marty’s house, so cool to see how far you guys have come. Inspirational every step of the way fellas
Congrats! Quite an upgrade, looking forward to see even more mad mods!
The greatest automotive, educational, story-telling, music making, customizing, 4x4 off-roading, and boating channel on the interballs.
Congrats boys, well deserved. Thanks for all the content made so far and looking forward to many more years of thrashing nuggets!
Cool to see a Tesla subframe on the shelf. Watching you guys and learning over the years is what gave me the confidence to actually buy an out of warranty Tesla and work on it myself 🙈 Looking forward to see what you do with this space and following the next 7 years ❤️
Awesome news and looking forward to the future builds, Congrats!!!!.
Mad!!! I feel like it was yesterday that moog rooked Marty and got him to pimp his car out, oh the journey we have all been apart. I’ve been watching you blokes since I was 23, now 37 and me and my 9 and 7 year old watch your videos together. Keep up the good work boys. ✌️ Cheers 🍻
11:42 c20xe!!! Can't wait for the Gemini (or as I know it Kadett) to make a return!
Looks like an Astra 2.2 to me
@@sickmick8846 More like C20XE or C20LET
Can we get an anniversary build on Marty's mom's driveway?
Ι also have been watching you since the driveway and I think you were one my first sub on youtube, we have come a long way! Happy for you guys!
Thank you guys for over 10 years of sharing your car experiences with us!
