My uncle baled square bales when I was a kid. As a 6 to 9 yr old girl my job was to roll bales close to the truck for easier pick up. Then after I got to sit while the boy cousins stacked the bales into the barn. It was great being a girl then. That was 65 years ago and I can still smell the alfpha and still itch.

Those bales look so nice and thick, should get air through them and keep well. 300….that is what we used to call on the dairy farm a “Good Problem” with a little smile on the face. Happy for you guys, especially given last year. God Blesses Us in special ways!

Going to be an early winter here in Minnesota. Farmers here where I live are having a very hard time putting up hay because of all the rain we are having. In seven days we got over 6” of rain, the week before about 7”, it’s been like this since spring. I asked my neighbor if he saw that no matter how much rain we get, puddles don’t even last 24. God is certainly replenishing the earth’s water supply this year!

Thanks for another great video Cole.
It was interesting and most enjoyable.
Busy day moving bales. I don’t think a lot of non farm people realize how much time and effort it takes to move the bales from the field into the farmstead. Time consuming process. Just simply takes time.
You yourself invested three fourths of a day moving bales.
You all moved 300 bales , that is a lot.
Good to see Sonny helping out-ha!!!!!
With uncle Jeff and your dad hauling also, you all moved a lot of bales.
You hay crop is fantastic for sure. Good hay for the winter feed.
Thanks for everything. You all take care and be safe.
    The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Question does your rented land down by the water have any Tile? If not maybe you and the land owner can work out a deal to get it tiled to help with water in the field. 5” of rain, nothing will help with that but those fields look wet you had. Thanks 🙏🏽
