Hajime no Ippo got me into boxing at 16 5 years ago. Nothing will compare to the feeling of watching this show. From the training to the fight scenes, it will always get my blood boiling. Thank you Ippo

@@nomenbeb5747 I've read about 1000 of the chapters, but stopped for some reason around 2 years ago. I'll definitely consider picking it back up, but for now I'm reading Baki the Grappler. Do you enjoy the manga?
@@KonradsHD I think that after chapter 1000 the manga becomes really really better, and more deep, it will not be anymore the just shounen fight manga you were used to (even considering that Hajime no Ippo before chapter 1000 was really good too)
@@nomenbeb5747Dude I'll give it a shot then. And I did thoroughly enjoy the chapters before 1000, I May have stopped due to me being caught up to the latest or something and I just didn't want to wait every week/month for a new chapter.

Ah! I have been following Ippo for almost 20 years now...Think about it.. and After Sendo Becoming Wrold Rank Number 2, things are getting Hot again...
the best anime by far. best writing, best characters, realistic in how it portrays boxing and honestly life in general, doesn't pull the punches and pretty heart wrenching at times. definitely my all time favourite and will be re-watching for years to come.

This anime got me into boxing. I was bullied just like Ippo was, felt exactly the same way about being bullied when Ippo would remember what Umezawa said about his mother. I am now a boxer, this anime brought the fire in me to make turn from a bullied wimp into a fierce boxer.

Hajime no ippo made me take up boxing as a teenager. I’m now 21 and undefeated as a pro going for my first shot at my countries championship belt this Friday! This anime changed my life for the better

I had been boxing before watching this anime on my winter break from college and I had been unmotivated by events in my life but watching this anime re sparked the fire in heart to become a professional boxer

same experience. had 3 surgeries and my brother told me about this two years ago and ive been training hard till my state allows boxing to reopen. california btw
2 years back in training with my old coach despite covid restrictions. every day. so when i listen to weight of my pride, it really hits the feels lol
I am 28 soon and I still get emotional when I listen to this... such nostalgia !
Watching the entire show and currently reading the manga made me fall in love with boxing. Have started practicing this June (joining a gym was literally my birthday gift). Haven't had any luck this year, issues constantly popping in and out, yet boxing has kept me looking forward, has taught me discipline, and now I'm unable to walk around my house without throwing at least a jab.
Reading Mike Tyson's autobiography, watching his old training recordings and rewatching the anime has got me in love with the Peak-a-Boo style as well, which matches me for being fairly short for my weight.
This show got me into boxing. Honestly the best decision I've ever done, since its one of the few things that makes me feel alive. Looking forward to what my future holds.

I wanna do boxing too but since i have a lense in my right eye I can't 😭 its not a normal lense i had a eye surgery and the doctor said this lense is permanent I can't take it out i guess if i tried boxing the lense will break

@@brachialtick6539 Standing on with your toes gives you less power but you can travel more faster.
Planting your foot on the ground will make you comfortable throwing hard punches
Power really comes from technique and just how hard you punch
Hajime no Ippo will forever have a special place in my heart. It was what got me to exercise and build up self-confidence. People used to tease me for being chubby and fat as a kid, but not anymore. Number one anime/manga for me! I plan to take some boxing classes once I graduate from college and have some more time on my hands.
*I used to love dragon ball until I found this. Dragon ball is good but hajime no ippo is in a class of his own*

I was never a professional boxer, but a quite good young boxer, as my trainer said to me. I quit it because of leaking of time and due to school marks. I always regret it. Now 20 years passed and i watch this anime and remembered all the fillings, especially getting knock down, this vomiting feeling . Oh boy, its so realistic made. Everything... Trainer, Club Mates, the contests, anxiety. If I could make time come back.
This mix lost my obesity. 🔥🔥🔥 Thank you for the motivation to workout.
After i started watching hajime no ippo, my life just changed before i started this anime my life was kinda hard and i was even depressed, but this anime made my life happy again.
I can't really explain how and why but somehow it just happened.

Everytime I hear these osts it makes me cry, men... It makes me think of Ippo or my hardships in life and why I keep fighting despite the difficulties. These songs make me smile and also teary eyed cause of nostalgia. One of the best Sports anime out there.. Definitely a classic. Great music, animation, vas, story, comedy... everything man. Hajime no ippo may not be the most popular anime out there, but this anime will always have a special place in my heart.
Hey @workgeekout ! I really want to say ur playlist is one ill never forget. It really helped me through my training! My debut match was on the 23rd of august but i sadly lost Due to KO. I did down the champion once, but it appeared his counter hit me just on the moment i would not have expected to! But dont worry! The rematch will be legendary, i promise you!

Got me back into boxing , since than I can’t stop listening to this and having the urge to box or workout or do anything, watching ippo changed my life just because I knew even though there were challenges or even if ippo lost he kept trying to get better knowing he’ll be going up against stronger and stronger opponents and the fact he was always respectful and never boasted about his wins or strength , powers or fame

This anime is by far my favorite anime in the world, and I've watched over 100 different whole animes at this point. This will always be my Champion (which is, as Takamura mentions, higher than the number 1). A masterpiece!

great playlist! between sets (or if you are doing interval training) the song: footwork from yoshihisa hirano (obviously) is also really good. and to this day one of my favorite hajime no ippo ost's.
Who's calling from tsuneo imahori is also a really good ost. it reminds me of kimura for some reason.

When I was 15, I remember watching this anime for the first one time and having it inspire me to become a boxer. Now I’m turning 21 and my life has changed badly. Whoever reads this fight the good fight and don’t let depression get to you or you’ll never know what it’s like to be strong
I barely workout but this shit had me keeping up with this dude in the gym I just wouldn’t stop running until he did and he finally stopped but something inside me made me keep pushing and I kept running even after he left
