Why ppl always hungry in your settlements?

I really don’t know I always have enough to food to sustain them through just the farms. And they get food from the supply routes too

I found that even though each settler needs one food minimum, it’s better if you have at least 3 per settler. That’s when mine stopped complaining anyway also it’s the same with seating. They moan about their back and feet unless you have 2 seats per settler. But again that’s just what I’ve found in my settlements especially the large ones….
