They are just exploiting devices and people, but they called hackers.
Movies make hackers look so unrealistic from what it really looks like.

Hmm! I thought there are only 2 types.. hackers and criminals.
If a hacker from your (pls understand this is not personal, I'm talking generally) country destroys a nuclear facility of your opponent, he is hero hat hacker, if the hacker from your opponent country destroys a nuclear facility then he is a terrorist hat hacker and a murderer... so let's stop with this childish separations like we always have to emphasize "ETHICAL" hacker if he is on our side and does something that his country arbitrary legislated.

@@Cybersguide Dear lady (or channel) I apologize if it sounded a bit harsh or stand off-ish. It wasn't meant to be. I saw the list of other videos you have and (unfortunately didn't have time to watch any but) I applaud anyone who takes time to teach, especially for free online, others the benefits of infosec.
But as you have seen I do feel very strongly about this childish hat contest like we are some kids. Whole IT is a huge and tbh infosec as well. It is a very serious industry and nowadays it is possible to explain to someone what hacker (security researcher.. unlike skiddy) is. The division you mention was necessary in time of Kevin Mitnic and we can say there are RedTeamers and BlueTeamers (although Purple Teamers are running around for few years - many namy years - since John Strand started Active Defense). SOC Analysts are becoming Threat Hunters and/or Reverse engineers with the development of new tools... Bug Bounty hunters are new teen idols. Some of them well deserved millionaires while other are getting there.
I was simply saying my opinion. If you don't like it, just skip the comment. No need to insult me because I do know "a little bit" about your hats. If this was your only video, I wouldn't even wrote it, but you have other interesting titles...

@@CybersguideLOL, thank you. I thought this comment was ridiculous. This person is not here to learn.

Thanks for writing to us! You have a right to not like our content and sharing your view with us. That's ok. However, I disagree with your statement regarding hats. These colors are metaphor to explain the different intentions of hacking activities. The liability is based on the intentions and it's important for people in Cybersecurity and information security domain to be familiar with these concepts.
