So part 3 is stating u need 36 stitches. Well I'm getting 26 by doing the 1, then 2 DC. So is that right then? 26 and not 36! Please get back to me asap
@@jovelyncrochet so its 2dc every 6 dc on each row for 6 rows? So chain 2, dc in same stitch, then 5dc, and 2dc in the 6th stitch for 6 rows? Which makes it 96 I guess. The pattern says 5 rows.

@@jovelyncrochet That's definitely not accurate. Lol. I have some wire I tried using on my own pattern I created & it did not help to stiffen the brim at all. So there's definitely a specific type of wire or at least a minimum size needed to make the brim stiff.

I’m guessing what she or he means by spot is in each chain....that’s how I’m working it out
This is my question too, it seems like a way of wording the increase but since it is the brim I want to get it right
Yes, spot mean each stitch or each chain. (See the description below for the whole counting) :)
Can anyone please help me with the brim. The numbers do not add up correctly. 98 stitches goes to 120 dc for the brim but that isn’t possible!! HELP PLEASE!
Hi, I am also working on this. Here I suggest u change to 122.
Part 5: 5Rows of 98st.
Part 6:
R1:Dc,[ 2dc,DCx3]x24times,DC (122)
R2:Dc,[2dc, DCx4]x24times,DC (146)
R3:Dc,[2dc, DCx5]x24times,DC (170)
R4:Dc,[2dc, DCx6]x24times,Dc (194)
R5:Dc,[2dc, DCx7]x24times,Dc (218)
R6:Dc,[2dc, DCx8]x24times,Dc (242)
R7:Dc,[2dc, DCx9]x24times,Dc (266).
Note:Dc=1double crochet in 1stitch
2dc=2double crochet in 1stitch.
DCx3=double crochet in next 3stitches. repeat pattern in [ ] for 24times.
Hope it helps.
May I ask what weight yarn you used for this hat or does it matter?
300 to 400 Grams
Is this a childs hat? Because I'm at part 6, and that's the brim of the hat? It won't fit my head. And I wear a motor helmet size xs. So I don't have a very large head.
So part 3 is stating u need 36 stitches. Well I'm getting 26 by doing the 1, then 2 DC. So is that right then? 26 and not 36! Please get back to me asap
same thought
💕💕💕💕💕
Thanks
How much yarn have y'all been using?
what weight yarn have you used...?
Too difficult to follow. Never finished the details
Please can you write the pattern row by row. I can't understand the pattern you gave and I messed up the whole hat😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
see the discription. hope you understand the counting :)
Anyone know the weight for the hat and now many yards
It would be better if you explained ,in words, what you were doing. A beginner cannot follow this
What size yarn?
i have one question how much wool/yarn does it use
300grms to 400grms
grms is grams right???
Yes
The only way I could possibly make this hat from the video is to watch and write it down and then make it from my written pattern ...
🤩🤩😍😍😍❤❤❤
How do you make the ends stand and not droop down
I would stuff with Poly fill and make a closure sticking only back loop. Or use double strands
How much yarn did you use for this?
I'm wording the same thing
300 to 400 grams
Can anyone help me with the last but. What does 3VIIIV TO 7VIIIIIIIV MEAN
V mean 2dc in one hole [spot]
@@jovelyncrochet thank you
I'm so confused with this video and the pattern information. They don't match. It never said anything about where and when to add the wire.
What does from 2 to 6 increase mean?
@@jovelyncrochet so its 2dc every 6 dc on each row for 6 rows? So chain 2, dc in same stitch, then 5dc, and 2dc in the 6th stitch for 6 rows? Which makes it 96 I guess. The pattern says 5 rows.
@@crystalburdick yes from 2dc to 6dc its 5 rows. 2dc is the first row
I am so glad I am not the only one not understanding. I’ve Ben calculating the best I can. I hope it doesn’t mess up the fancy stuff to come! Love it so far
@@JusticeLuvr basically its starting with a chain 2 and a dc in same stitch then dc in next 2 stitches and then 2dcs in same stitch. Next round increasing to 3 single dcs in between the 2 dcs in same stitch going up to one each round to 6dc in between.
😍😍😍
Anyone who has made this hat what weight yarn did you use?? DK? Worsted? Sport? Thank you my fellow hookers!
Its beautiful but you Do diffrent than you wrote and this is so confusing
You put "wire" as one of the materials, but you don't even specify what type of wire should be used...
any type of wire
@@jovelyncrochet That's definitely not accurate. Lol. I have some wire I tried using on my own pattern I created & it did not help to stiffen the brim at all. So there's definitely a specific type of wire or at least a minimum size needed to make the brim stiff.
Music destructing and words hard to read
Extremely hard to follow your video. I would suggest talking. Your hat is awesome though.
