Absolutely fascinating! I came here from a Facebook post about the animatronics being left to rot in a field for 20 odd years and then destroyed; so so sad. And also sad about how they were talking so enthusiastically about the future of animatronics and how, beyond the mid 90s, nothing much (outside of Disney anyway) came of it. I wonder why? Why did these animatronics stop being used? Was it to do with money? Or just a dip in popularity?

The park that hosted them closed down in 2005, however the show had been removed as of 2000
