Shetland Ponies off the grass

The winter grass is still too sugary for Charlie the laminitic pony, so his half-sister, Amber keeps him company whist he chows down on chaff.

You might need a bigger water container Rosie to save yourself some trips. I wonder if the ponies feel bored? I bet they will really run like the wind when they can finally come out of the barn.

Yes, 2 water containers are now in situ.
They are probably a bit bored, but the have the company of each other which is one of the most important things for their welfare.
I am letting them out on their nongrazing field very soon.
