Happy New Year from the guinea pig family
Going to make a little pond like that for my ducks, thanks for the inspiration 👍
👍👍
👍
Hi Rosie. I am no expert on tortoises but most people on the internet say the temp has to be just right but I guess you know that anyway as you have had your tortoise for a long time. The weather patterns all over the world are crazy these days so perhaps Keira knows something you don't. Hope you get it sorted .
It's too mild. The greenhouse heats up during the day, even though l open the window and the door. The male has dug down, so hopefully she will follow soon.
So very for you how horrible😢😢.poor little hens.I love all animals and how hard it is to loose them very sad indeed.I have two Guinea Pigs whom I love very much and when one passed on awhile ago I was very sad he was a dear little friend.🙏😢😢💟
Hello Rosie. Harley reminds me of a border collie we had in Australia. He would just watch the hens all day through the fence and only moved when they did. His instincts told him that that was what he had to do as we had no cattle or sheep. 😊
Aww...Harley has collie in him,as well as staffing and spaniel
👍👍
It takes much longer to clean them out though !
Hello Rosie. I love the plumage on the grey duck. It reminds me of a type of ceramic. Beautiful.
She is beautiful. The eggs were purchased from breeder and were labeled runner ducks 😀 Obviously not !
👍
👍👍👍
😄
Hello ❤
Goodness. I thought it was an onion or small vegetable of some sort Rosie. 😀
It had a tiny yolk in it, too !
@@rosemarybennett5044 How bizarre.

Lovely. 👍
😊
Hi Rosie. They are all certainly creatures of habit. We used to have a few fowls many years ago. I remember them all fussing around to get their exact spot on the perch with much pecking and scolding. 😄
Indeed, that's exactly what they do. As l only have 5 now, there is plenty of space 😄
So relaxing to see them all settling down for the night. Best wishes from Ann and Tommy Keegan, Ireland.Take care.
👍
Hi Rosie. That's a great set up for the tortoises. I love the little house. What happens if the fruit falls on the ground before you can get to it?
The odd bit won't hurt, really. They would dive on it, though!
Hi Rosie. I can't believe how much the ducklings have grown in a month. They will probably be chasing Harley around soon.
Ducks grow incredibly quickly !!
Hi Rosie. They are just sooooo cute. And their little cheeps 😍
So sweet.😍👍
So cute❤❤❤❤😊😊
Hi Rosie The new additions are so cute. I bet they will be following you around in no time at all.
They do follow me, but as there are 2, they are company for each other, and not so demanding as the single one we had 4 years ago 😄
Lovely. 👍
They are attached to their box and don't want to be in their outside enclosure 😄
👍
🐢🐢💚😂
😆
Hi Rosie. You are lucky to have your own bamboo growing. It is the most versatile plant. You can use it for just about anything. The beans look very healthy.
Yes, it spreads if left unchecked for long. Now looking forward to the beans. We eat them nearly every day when they are in season 😋
👍 How are the tomatoes looking this year?
Late getting started, but are now in flower in the polytunel. We still have a few boxes of pulped tomato in the freezer!
Better late than never 👍
@@rosemarybennett5044 Do a video showing us them now and then you can do one when they are in crop.
I like how you are always thinking about what your little friends need ❤
Thank you
Hi Rosie. Once they are all settled in and totally stress free they will lay more eggs I am sure. Will their tail feathers grow back?
All 4 of them laid on the first morning, 3 on the second morning , 1 the next day, then 4 again this morning! Off to a good start! Yes, their feathers will grow back 😊
Hi Rosie. I hope it is absolutely impenetrable to the foxes. Can't wait to see them.
I am keeping them in the totally enclosed area until the outer area has higher fencing.
👍Yeah - new hens. I'm sure they will thrive with your loving attention.
That's the plan!
❤❤😂😂
👍Looking forward to seeing the new hens.
Great
Duckies!!!
👍👍
They are adorable Rosie. Takes me back to when I was a child. We always had chickens and ducks.
It’s nice to have fun children and a pretty garden at the same time 💕
So true!
I love all the different flowers Rosie. The crab apple is magnificent. It is wonderful to have Rob living close by.
Yes it is 😊. I didn't know he was about to appear while l was recording, but he effortlessly picked up my video 😁
👍
Maybe getting a shepherd dog would help. His barks would keep the foxes away.
Yes, our dog does a good job most of the time, but it was at night, and he was inside.
Hello. ❤
So sorry Rosie to hear this. The fox has just killed 17 of our chickens, it is heart breaking 😢
It has really disturbed me as l expect it has you 😐 💜
Oh Rosie I am so sorry to hear this devastating news. Nature is cruel sometimes. Why couldn't the fox just take what it wanted and leave the rest. You may have to put barbed wire on the top of the enclosure fence or a whole wire netting roof. Hope you and your granddaughter feel happy again soon.
Hi Rosie. Such sticklers for routine are chickens. Usualy first up of a morning too.
Yes they are!
So sorry 😞
Oh no. Looks like you will need to bring fortifications to the coop and restock. So sad that the fox seems to kill just for fun rather than for food.
I am devastated . It took 4 out of the 11 away though. I presume it was a fox 🤔
Fox I am sure would have hardy cubs to feed at the moment, no consultation to you Rosie, could it be a mink or pinemartin? Sad 😢
👍
Is that the tree that fell down when you had those wild storms last year Rosie?
Yes it is. It's great that it's still alive !
👍👍
