I’ve had my Bosch mixer for 38 years and it came with a smaller bowl and a blender, ♥️♥️♥️it but wish I had a stainless steel bowl..
I've had my Bosch mixer for almost 10 years, and absolutely love it!! It works so well, and has never failed. Thanks to your video about flaking oat groats, I did some investigation and found that there is an oat flaker attachment for the Bosch mixer that I bought, and it works perfectly as well. The only thing that was a disappointment to me was the blender/food processor attachment. It was so small that it wasn't worth the effort to use it, so I went back to using my Vitamix. Thanks for the video Mary!
I just ordered the mixer using your code. Thanks!!
Oh, that's great! Thank you so much!
Glad yall are feeling better 😊
I bought a Bosch compact mum5 several months ago and really love it. it has accessories that came with it as well as the stainless steel bowl.I use the continuous slicer shredder all the time it is nice and very handy. I love making bread with this machine.
Love my Bosch! Thanks for all your videos.
I have this mixer and it is a workhorse😊
I'm thoroughly enjoying my Bosch. I'm trying to learn the European-style stainless steel bowl (without the cebter column), and I'm just not getting the hang of it! The sides don't clean for me. I'd love a vidoe on tips and tricks!
I have the shredding attachment and I can shred 5 lb cheddar cheese in20 min - that's get it out, put together, chunk the cheese, run it through, and bag it up. I like that it shreds into the mixer bowl.
I really enjoy your cooking videos. ❤
I love my Bosch. It’s 10 years old. ❤️
Just got this same one about a month ago. Love it!!
Ooh fun, looking forward to the comparison even though I don't own either of those mixers 😅 thanks for sharing, and I'm so glad you're feeling better 🙌
Mornin Mary…..I love my Bosch. I gave away my kitchen aid because this is so powerful and easy to use. Expensive but worth it!
Thank you for sharing this great video , I have this mixer and use it for bread but , I didn’t know I could buy the backers bundle so I will look into it .
Thank you ! I have a kitchen aid and really want to get a new one !! Can’t decide Bosch or artiste
I've had the Bosch Universal Plus, 800 watts, for several years and on your recommendation bought the ER1 with the bottom drive. I received it Sunday, washed and dried all the parts...after milling my wheat this morning, made Sue Beckers basic bread ( 2 loaves) and was thrilled with the ER1 performance. My complaint with the plastic bowl that came with the mixer was the dough climbing up the center post and getting into all the nooks and crannies. The ER1 is so much nicer for bread dough!
I have the compact Bosch and the Nutrimill, both are awesome, and I got the stainless steel bowl on ebay for $50
I've been looking at what mixer to get, narrowed to NutriMill or this one, since buying my NutriMill Harvest mill ... oh my goodness, so much more kneading with fresh ground flour than I'm used to and I want a good bit of power ... We are pizzaholics, and do other frequent baking favs. You convinced me, just ordered it! Can't wait to get mine!! Bless you for all you do and share!
You'll love it!
I did order a Nutrimill Harvest
Some day 🤞🏼
I do 5 whole wheat loaves at a time.
Hi Mary
I am curious about the plastic bowl vs the stainless steel. On nurta mill mixer does the plastic bowl scratch over time!!! Trying to decide on the Bosch or the nutra mill
To be honest, I believe the dough hook on the nutrimill may scratch over time but the dough hook on the bosch doesn't touch the bowl so I don't think it will. I love the nutrimill with the stainless bowl, though.
Thanks Mary!!!!
I didn’t realize you could get a stainless steel bowl with the nutra mixer
May I ask, where do you purchase your groats from?
I order mine from Pleasant Hill Grains.
Gmorning Mary. Hope you can answer this quickly. I'm a home based busy baker with a 6 quart Kitchen Aid professional. Been thinking about getting the Nutrimill mixer. Thought it was the same as the Bosch. I know you said you'd let us know later after you use it more, but could you tell me is it worth the money to get the Bosch over the Nutrimill? ❤
I think if you are going from the 6 quart kitchen aid the Bosch will be well worth it. The Bosch is amazing for larger batches of dough mixing. I've been very impressed with the power of this mixer. Hope that helps!
That’s when I bought my bosch when I was baking from home. The older Bosch can make 6 loaves of fresh milled bread. It’s a workhorse!
Wow. That dough capacity is approaching the professional machines for about $1000 dollars less .
Thanks. I didn’t even know that machine existed.👍
I have to share something. I just bought a little “cheater”. It’s one of those things they call a Chinese popcorn cannon. It’s just a little thing, but it turns wheat berries or rice into edible puffed grain in about fifteen minutes. You heat it up, pop the top , it goes bang and shoots a couple big bowls of cereal into its collection bag. It’s a hoot if you have wheat berries in the house. Wheat berries into breakfast in fifteen minutes!
I’m wondering if you can grind the puffed grain into some kind of usable flour?
I'm not sure about using the flour but I am going to be looking into this! Thanks for sharing!
None of your affiliate links are working for me 😏
I'm not sure why, I just went to the video and clicked on them and they worked. I will send it straight to you: nutrimill.com/THE_ROSE_HOMESTEAD Use code rose20 at checkout for $20 off!
Thank you. BUT, ive tried 2 different ways to add things to my cart..bundle, or individually. BOTH times it won't accept your code so you can get the credit, as it keeps giving me THEIR discount instead. Please notify them. I'll wait till you hear, so you can get the credit.
