Villa Park and Molineux, 2 of the best traditional stadiums in the country. 4 massive seperate stands, none of this souless mega bowl so many big clubs build now. Villa Park used to stage FA Cup semi finals before FA decided to cash in and use Wembley. Ryan Giggs scored his wonder goal there in the replay against Arsenal in 1999. Just a fantastic looking stadium. And where's Solihull Moors FC?
Technically not in Birmingham. In the West Midlands but lies outside of Birmingham proper. Although the fact that others like it are included in the video does make me wonder too.
Walsall's Bescot Sadium might be the most well-known stadium in England, as pretty much every person in the country has driven past it on the M6 motorway right next to it at some point.
Only problem is that Wolverhampton and Walsall isn’t Birmingham, they don’t come under Birmingham and they are at least half an hour from Birmingham’s city centre.
He specifically says he's included stadiums within the wider West Midlands conurbation. Birmingham is the largest city within the urban sprawl that spreads out from the centre. Anywhere else this would be called Greater Birmingham.
@@TheBeeseven he even says “Birmingham has a lot of old stadiums” when introducing Molineux. And he hasn’t included all of the West Midlands because where is Coventry? In fact, Coventry’s stadium is even closer to Birmingham City Center than Molineux. Yes he has stated that there are some stadiums from other parts of the West Midlands. But someone who hears those words and doesn’t know where Wolverhampton is is gonna think it’s Birmingham when it is 100% not
@@kurbi7262 it makes no sense to include Wolverhampton but not Coventry, but Coventry actually has a few stadiums so that's probably why it wasn't included.
@@stevenhoughton1406 I did some research on this. There is West Midlands the region, West Midlands the county, and the West Midlands conurbation. The West Midlands conurbation includes Birmingham, Wolverhampton, and everything in between, which is a continuous urban area.
If you do a Sheffield vid, please make an exception to your capacity rule to mention Sandygate. Thought to be the oldest still-used football stadium in the world.
Birmingham may not have teams in either the basketball or ice hockey leagues, but it does have a team in the Premier Handball League (Birmingham Bisons), and a university side (Birmingham University) in the second division. However, with both resident school sports halls having a seating capacity of 0, they were never going to meet your 5,000 seat threshold.
I did mention that in the intro. The reason I put Birmingham in the title is because nobody outside of England has heard of the West Midlands conurbation.
Shut up you I won't say, everyone knows, people like you make me want to kick off but I won't, oh this ain't Birmingham, I love Wolves, look mate in Stockport they say Manchester, in Bolton they say say Manchester & why Manchester gains more recognition, because of what you say.

Molineux 😂😂😂
10000 capacity cutoff
Birmingham really has an impressive selection of stadiums.
Walsall's Bescot Sadium might be the most well-known stadium in England, as pretty much every person in the country has driven past it on the M6 motorway right next to it at some point.
I believe more people have seen it than any other football ground in the world.
Villa Park is a special ground - was great for FA Cup semi-finals and so glad it has been redeveloped in a way that has kept its identity.
Some of the grounds sell a Chicken Balti pie. Which tastes amazing
This is great, as always!
When I first saw the Bescot as a 10-year-old in the back of my parents car on the M6, I thought it was a non-league stadium
You should do Allsvenskan stadiums!

Should be West Midlands
try telling someone from Wolverhampton or West Bromwich that their stadium is in Birmingham 😂
I'm dissapointed he didn't show Coventry's stadium aswell
@@kurbi7262 it makes no sense to include Wolverhampton but not Coventry, but Coventry actually has a few stadiums so that's probably why it wasn't included.
West Bromwich is in Birmingham technically. It has a Birmingham postcode and a Birmingham telephone number.

he usually does things in the entire urban area, which seems like it includes wolverhampton as well as west brom
Great video, great music....great start to any day! Thanks!
Molyneux was my wife's favourite, I couldn't decide between Molyneux and Villa Park.
can you do arenas/stadiums of sheffeld england please
If you do a Sheffield vid, please make an exception to your capacity rule to mention Sandygate. Thought to be the oldest still-used football stadium in the world.
Hear me out though… stadiums of Yorkshire
@@SteveBunce365 that would be a long video
would that include Rotherham?
@@valuetraveler2026 yes i guess its up to him
Thank you!
Manchester has both the first and second biggest indoor arenas at 23,500 for the new Co-op arena and 21,000 for the AO arena.
Biggest doesn't always mean the best does it. Co-op isn't exactly a shining beacon of quality
@MartynHood no mention of best in my statement. Just pointing out the mistake in the video.
Plss make "the stadiums of assumpción, Paraguay"
back to back Birminghams!
You missed the Perry Barr Stadium, which is in Birmingham!
Home of Greyhound racing and the Birmingham Brummies speedway team!
should've waited for birmingham city's new stadium that's expected for a few years

Totally agreed calling me a brummie is fighting talk 😇 I’m Black Country loud and proud Cmon Walsall 🥳
Stadiums of Merseyside please?
Prenton Park is going to win the best stadium in that video for sure!
Wba stadium looks like a HMP from the outside
Do Las Vegas next
It's in the works.
i was really confused looking at the recent uploads
West Brom has a post code starting 'B'. Wolves has 'WV'.
Can you Uefa European championship stadiums
great. haha you are funny
I feel like we're being kind of rickrolled.
Should have called this video 'The Stadiums of the West Midlands' instead.
Stadiums of Boston?
You missed out Damson park.
Says at the start the minimum capacity for a stadium to be covered here is 10,000 and Damson Park is well below that.
Tinpot club, that's why 😂
The Molineux is in Wolverhampton not Birmingham. A completely different city and the Hawthornes is in a completely different town

@stevenhoughton1406 😅..Half the west & south midlands have a B postcode even some parts of Leicestershire..!!!
West brom and wolves and walsall is the black country not birmingham
