it was probably recycled later after being shredded (It did look like it has sat some place )

what would be cooler is if the had the roll hanging from above and fed the paper into the shredder

That looked like 15lb coated paper. Similar to what they use to make those slick-sided mailers or fliers. What a waste to throw that much away.
