I recently saw Wicked and Ginna Claire blew me away!!! She is genuialy funny and her dynamics with Mary Kate Morrissay (who is playing Elphie) is FANTASTIC, specially given that they really are besties in rl!!! I also watched a video of Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda and I noticed that her emotional portrail of No one mourns the wicked is AWESOME!!!

Savanna Stevenson is my favourite Glinda, there’s such a contrast between her Act 1/2 Glinda and her finale is just incredible and moving! I’ve got a very wicked month planned next year! I’m going to see the tour in the uk next October and then I’m seeing Wicked on broadway the week after! Loved hearing your views!

I love these types of videos, it's so interesting to hear what other people look for in certain characters and performances. Loving your list. For me, my favourite Glinda to date has to be Louise. She blew me away when I saw her as Glinda. Her comedy and her vocals were just so spot on. I don't think I've ever laughed so much at a Popular performance :).
I WISH I'd had the time to come up and see Susie in the role. The audios I've heard on youtube sound AMAZING and I can only imagine it was even better in person. I'm gutted I didn't get to see her.
Interestingly I'd have to say that my least favorite I've seen so far is Gina. (Sorry :P) I just didn't warm to her portrayal and it's kind of hard to pinpoint why..I think she played Glinda a little "straighter" than I've seen previously, like some of the comedy elements just fell flat with her for me. And unfortunately when I saw her, Thank Goodness (which is one of my FAVORITE moments in the show) just wasn't great vocally. Maybe she was having an off day, because I've always wondered if I saw her again if I'd like her more, because as a person and a performer in general, I really like her. But her Glinda just wasn't for me..
But as you say I think that's part of what makes theatre so special is everyone's different opinions and the different things they see in each performer.. So interesting!

Don't know if you saw Lauren James Ray in the track that Charlotte was in but Lauren growled that line so much! I've not heard Charlotte though but Lauren was so fierce on that line
I love this video almost as much as I LOVE Wicked!! Could you do one of the top ten about the Fiyeros? He's one of my favorite characters in the show!
Awww thanks Joshua! I might do yeah, maybe not for a little while though as I don't want to become just a Wicked fangirl channel 😉
One of my favorites is Tiffany Haas because she is a former miss ohio and she brings that structure and holding of her self which makes her feel much more stronger by the end of the show where she is still holding herself up even after wearing a 45lb dress for 30mins. She also has one of the best combinations of humor and dramatic moments in act 2. She also has a wonderful soprano voice and was always so consistent with her voice and always did the more difficult alternative parts during the opening and Thank Goodness. She also had wonderful chemistry with everyone one stage from the regular to every understudy and standby. She is very well rounded and I like that about her performance.
Tyler Bond I know Tiffany Haas! She is so nice and so incredibly talented!
OMG SAME I met her from being my coach at a Theatre Camp in NYC then became good friends with her and got to see her alot when she came to Nashville and stuff

This is so cool because I’m actually playing Glinda in our schools production of the Wizard of Oz! Xx I’ve also seen two Glindas and they were both amazing! I can’t remember who I saw first but then I saw Suzie Mathers and I thought she was incredible! Xxx keep up with the great content love your videos x

I don't have a favourite Glinda yet. I've only seen Sophie Evans and while I know she'll stay with me for sentimental reasons of being my first Glinda unlike Alice Fearn as Elphaba I'm not totally convinced and I know that now I'm obsessed with the show. I'll see more Glindas that will impress more than Sophie. However I could be wrong I don't know who they're going to cast in the future and after she's completely settled Sophie might blow us away.
It's really fun getting to see various combinations of Elphaba's and Glinda's, I'd love to know in the future who you get to see and who becomes your favourite! Thanks for watching 💖

I actually managed to see Rosa O’Reily last May when she went on as Sophie was ill and I adored Rosa! I saw Sophie a few days ago and she was okay but I feel she was kinda robotic 🙈

I always wondered what the differences between the West End production and the Tour of Wicked might be…? What did they have to cut from the scenic designs to make the show tour-ready…? Is the orchestra even smaller than in London (London has 7 musicians less than Broadway! :-O ). Could you shed a light on that, please…? Thank you! :-)

Sophie Evans is such a good singer, and that's why I love her. But acting wise, I really really enjoyed the amazing Jennifer Laura Thompson, who took over after KC on Broadway. She actually managed to be a Glinda with cracks in the attitude. Her popular is found on RUclips, and it's just amazing to see a girl actually struggling. You can almost hear her mother in her childhood teaching her how to toss her hair and all of the struggles she has with the facade. Love it.

I know the principle Glinda is the main actress, but could you explain the difference between understudy and stand by please
The stand by's only job is to stand by and go on if needed. The understudy has 1 or multiple parts in the ensemble and only goes on if the principle, and standby can't.
