I also suffered Knights of the Rose too. I do feel sorry for the performers, especially the women, who seemed to be wearing repurposed curtains.

Congrats on the new job Rukaya! Theatre marketing is something I've been working to get into as well but due to personal issues I'm doing something different right now, but hoping to make it there someday. In terms of videos, I totally get that you won't want to vlog every trip, but would still be cool to see the chatty section parts with your thoughts on the show at a later date if possible (or just an IG story if that's quicker).

I'm sad to hear we might not be getting as many videos from you especially since I loved this recent string of frequent uploads but I'm glad that you're happy in your new job! I'm also glad to hear you enjoyed (if you can call it that) A Monster Calls so much as I'm seeing it on Saturday and really enjoyed the book as a kid and the film a couple years ago. My July has actually been pretty packed for me now that I've got more time as exams are over. I really enjoyed Home, I'm Darling which I saw last Saturday (I guess that's technically August). The set in particular was incredibly well detailed. I also saw Exit the King which was a little disappointing and probably my least favourite show I saw last month but mostly because of how much slower the last half an hour or so felt compared to the snappier beginning. I also finally managed to see Dream Girls which I'd been wanting to see for a while and although I thought the sound mixing or something was off as the singing was far too quiet I still really enjoyed because the actress playing Effie was incredible. I also managed to see Kinky Boots for the first time as well which was so much fun even if the leg room experience sounds similar to yours at Hamilton. I'm excited to hear more of your opinions on shows this month even if it's a bit less frequent! I really love your videos since most of my friends aren't theatre goers so I don't get to talk much about theatre with them. Sorry for this huge wall of text!

Loved this video!! I managed to get a ticket for the Heathers transfer this month, probably the most stressful half hour of my life as my wi-fi was dodgy and the website kept crashing but I’m extremely excited for October now. I want to extend my trip a little (as I’m literally taking the sleeper train down the night before, seeing the show in the afternoon then taking the train back that evening) but I’ve only just turned 16 and I’ll be travelling 500 miles across the country by myself, so we’ll see how that plays out😂
