I enjoyed the video. I also bought the same from costco. I have one question. My house, like yours, has plywood floors. Laminate has a pad attached to it, and some people put one pad on top of the plywood. ? I want to know your opinion. thank you.
If there is no underlayment attached, you will need to put some down. Typically you have a Standard & Premium underlayment. Standard Underlayment will work just fine, but doesn't have as good of an Sound Transmission rating as a Premium Underlayment which will help keep the transmission of sound down.
Any color would work. You can get silicone in many colors. It would be a personal preference and what would aesthetically look better. For example, if your wall base is white, you would probably want to use white silicone. If your base is another color and they do not make a silicone that matches, you would probably want to use clear.
I have the same questions. Do you only cut the short end on the first row? Or is it assumed that the short end against the wall will always be a cut piece?
You are AMAZING !!!!!
Nice video thanks

I just had the Revwood Plus installed and they didn't use any sealant around any edges. Left expansion gaps behind fridge wide open.
Pad is required, but no pad is shown in the video, is that because the pad is built in to the flooring product?
What color and collection is being installed in this video?
What kind of underlayment do I lay? Mine didn’t come with any attached. The guy at the flooring store said revwood doesn’t use any…?

Is the silicone sealant used clear or white?

Do I cut the planks with wood side up or down? Can I install right to left? Why do I cut the first row and not the last?

The non tapping method sucks cause the entire row comes up and then you have to repound all the boards
and the tapping method, light taps don't work for me!
Pad is absolutely required.
Not if it’s on a wood subfloor with pad attached
